I can see keeping a couple cases of water because your on the run. But the amount you buy, wouldn’t it be better to put a water filter system in your house?
Costco was always a favorite for my kids. They got to learn how to shop and choose good foods. We discussed what foods where good for you and what foods where not. The best was the samples they gave out. We always did lunch at costco with a special treat of pizza, ice cream and a drink. It was a once every 3 or 4 month trip. Produce is crazy expensive. We turned our entire backyard in a food forest of food so we can pick veggies all summer and preserve it for the winter. Just finished canning 22 pints of ketchup, 32 pints of tomato soup and 32 pints of homegrown salsa. Next up is tomato sauce and pizza sauce to last us the winter. The kids love helping in the garden and it's something they will take with them in knowledge. With the way the economy is going everyone needs to learn how to grow there own food and know what's in the food. Nothing better than home grown and a healthy happy family. Why not just buy a half of cow from a farm or even a whole cow. You can have them cut it to the cuts you want and make sure it's grass fed. So much better than store bought and it turns out to be cheaper than buying individual cuts at the store. You can do the same with pork. Plus you are helping out the farmers.
If you've been following them long enough then you would know we live in New York state and in your States plastic water bottles you are charged an extra 5 cents per bottle when you buy them them and when they're empty you turn around and take them back to the redemption centers to get your five cents back per bottle and then they go and get squished up and recycled and usually end up on big barges and or trains cars to different areas to be turned into recycled material
You know that is a stupid statement. The product is already made. So what's the difference? Who buys it? And yes, in New York state we recycle. You can either bring it back for the $0.05 or you leave in your recycling bin
Iceburg lettuce has a chemical called lactucarium which if eaten in quantity it causes tummy upset. Dark Green lettuce is best like romaine along with a well balanced diet. We have a Flemish giant and she is huge 19lbs
You waste so much money and feed your kids so much junk! They don't eat them muffins every monday and i know their food is always cold. Stop putting those kids in the same clothes that makes yall look so special 😂😂😂
I have alot of respect to you and Josh taking care all your kids and putting your heart and love into it. I know I couldn't do what you do! Don't mind the haters! Don't know why people judge, do they have half a dozen teenagers and a huge family?!
I work full time and have a grown up family and grandkids i dont know how you can think that is acceptable to buy your kids all that juice for eac individual kid omg
@@cathy5267 But They Taste soOoOoOoOo GOOD. I buy them in Costco or Walmart. More pretzels through Costco because you get a bigger bag and less money in Walmart for a smaller bag.
You can buy your child at any age whatever you want to buy them ❤ anybody that has anything to say thinks at 18 you throw your kids out to the world to survive on their own. My child who is the youngest is 19 and I will buy him anything he wants. ❤
The happy caravan throws the croissants in the freezer but you can also wet them a little and pop them in the oven to reheat. They will crisp up! I loved this haul!
My kids are 38 and 36, I still stuff Christmas stocking from Santa for them ❤ and St Nick leaves them a stuffed boot from their youth on our porch every December 6th or it may be from La Befauna... lol ❤
Just a suggestion. Had to teach my sister. IF you buy / want pork chops, buy a tenderloin. The butcher will slice it for free. Its yummier & often cheaper.
@@cindyfuller6394 I do this with most my meats I buy pork ,slice it into steaks Cut into strips for stir fry ect Beef I cut into steaks ,stripe chunks A lot cheaper than buying cuts
A way to save money with the rabbit In nice weather is you go out in the yard and pick dandelions, clover, plantain ( look this up, not the banana kind! Just about everyone has this in their yard) and thistle if you have that weed. Make sure no dogs have peed on it of course and make sure no one has sprayed weed killer. Wash the leaves off In water and keep it in a container in the refrigerator. Give bunny a handful or two a day. They love it and it's free!
Why would she do that? Have you learnt anything from the covid period? Pantry challenges are stupid. Who in their right mind would deplete their stock of food to replace it when the price of food is increasing every day. Suppose there is another pandemic, back to not finding food and waiting hours to get it. Simply rotate the damn food. Let this woman spend her money the way she wants to.
My goodness, you need to watch, Tribe of Many, what you spend in a wk, she doesn’t spend that much for a month, there’s no way your family can eat all that food in a wk, than you’ll be going to another store in 2 days
@@Alicia_1970 Maybe you should because she cooks from scratch homemade bread as close to earth as she can get for the food for her children. Her overall budget a month is $2,000. Far cry from the crap load Alicia buys every other day for clicks.
I wish I could shop at Costco, everything looks nice there. I am in need of household things we are completely out. Hopefully Friday we will be able to get some. The struggle is real...
Wow...what a great haul...just so happy I don't have to pay the weekly bill😮...I don't know how you and Josh do it...😮..kiddos to both parents...great job❤😊
You don’t want to get that whole beef brisket to cut up. It’s meant to be cooked low and slow or smoked for many hours. It would be very tough to grill
People can stock up if they want to . She's just trying to keep ahead because it's an emergency stock up you guys do not remember what happened during COVID when the stores were all flown away because of people overstocking and buying so she's doing the right thing is to stock up ahead of time before stuff goes down the hill in the future . Just wait one day you're going to be wanting to have food on hand if things go downhill in the future You're going to be saying I should have been like her quit judging people and quit assuming things . I'm planning in the future to have a cold pantry for a emergency reasons.
There is only myself and my child in my household , I can easily use as many paper towels as she does , i use them for everything from cleaning to drying pots .
The biggest misconception about having a rabbit is giving them lettuce. Do not feed them iceberg lettuce, and only give them a small piece of Romain lettuce. Don’t give them celery because of the hairs or the threads or whatever you want to call them that are in it. You can give them half a banana a small handful of Cheerios and some parsley and carrots.
@@amberb9564 I’ve started showing and raising Rabbits and cavies when I was 8 years old. I’m now 51. Certain rates that I have got raisin bread, Froot Loops and Cheerios. To help with their weight.
@@Sodaandsadness during the summertime I give my rabbits a quarter of banana and parsley and a quarter carrot. This is been going on since I have eight years old. I am now 51.
If you can't find the cheese you have on your list, a baby swiss is a great substitute. They have very similar flavor. You can also use a French cheese called comte. It's the French version, but it a little nuttier.
My mom was a busy mother of four and worked with my dad in a hardware business. As she would prepare to go somewhere, she would say, “Oh no, look at my nails!” I still think of that some days when my nails need tending! 😂
My two son's are 28 & 18 and i still buy them clothes, shoes, food & toiletries and i always will 😊 i think as parent's we NEVER STOP BUYING THINGS FOR OUR CHILDREN even if they are adults or young children ,so YOU GO BUY THAT TOOTHPASTE FOR ALEX ALICIA 😊💙💙💙🇦🇺
waste of money, just get a 30 pack of rechargable Amazon basic batteries, 1 battery charger and you won't need AA again. I haven't bought new batteries in like 5 years.
We grew up with my Mom buying us Bounty paper towels but they are so expensive I find myself buying store brands like Kroger. I asked my brother what paper towel brand his family uses. He said they don't use paper towels. I think he might be adopted!🤣
I don’t understand why you wouldn’t buy things for Alex-he is only 18, lives at home, and helps out. Most people don’t just cut off their kids. You’re fine.
Wait what?! She doesn’t buy him food or things anymore? My daughter is 18 and starting college but we pay for everything for her.. I even pay for her hair appts every 3 months, makeup, clothes, shoes, literally everything. I can’t imagine making her pay. She will soon find a part time job, but full time college is her priority so we want her focusing on that.
Hi...the cookies that you said looked good but are not...are my favorite!!! Especially with some strong hot coffee. Croissants are fine to freeze. Just make sure you thaw them completely and not in the microwave. I have done this for several decades. 😊
Hey Alicia! You said that your kids prefer the Fruit Punch Capri Sun. Next time you're at BJ's take a look down the drink aisles! They sell a two pack gallon size container of the Fruit Punch Capri Sun juice! :)
I love the Costco hauls ❤ No problem here with you buying Alex his toothpaste. My son is 55, has his family, but when i see something he may like, i buy it. They never get older in a mother's heart ❤️
i`m curious. Dont have americans no tap water from home so that they can use bottles to fill up their water? Constantly buying plastic bottles with water isnt very good for the environment.....
Most, if not all, city water is contaminated. Regular water filters won't take out things like fluoride. My kids will drink more water when we have cold bottles of water to offer them.
The water in America is horrible that we have taste bleach and chemicals and it’s so horrible. It burns my eyes and my skin. I would never drink it. I do not trust it to be filtered so I have to buy bottled water but then the bottled water taste like chemicals and plastic, so I had to find a better alternative company That sells gallons. I wouldn’t even brush my teeth with the tapwater coming from my sink and it might even be just how old the pipes are in my town. When you get in the shower and the water burned your eyes because there’s so many bleach and chemicals in your water you would never drink it..
Quality of the water varies by location - I live in a very tiny town less thanb400 people and we have 3 wells of great quality that give us water so we use put tap water
Hi Alicia another great shop well done love the care you take with your family thanks for sharing you all take care best wishes from jane in England 😊❤
Wouldn’t it be easier to check out each flat bed at a time and take it to the van then go do another one? That way it would be a faster checkout for your perishables?
No I need to do that tomorrow. Thanks! Yeah Dixie has been having a sensitive stomach. The vet couldn’t find anything wrong other than the fact that she is the sneakiest dog at stealing a bite to eat when the kids aren’t looking.
I like to watch your grocery shopping videos because I don't get out anymore and it's nice to see new items in the store or things I haven't tried before. Then I can order them for delivery. Also, I miss your day-in-the-life videos.
Day in life is coming back regularly this week! And I try to show as much of the store as I can without getting other people in my videos because I know how hard it is for people to get to stores and I hope it’s helpful to see the inventory.
Same here, also housebound, although I'm in the UK. It really hits that shopping itch, ordering stuff online isn't the same as wandering the aisles and we don't even have mobility scooters for the supermarkets over here so there's no chance I can manage. So thank you for letting me shop vicariously, Alicia!
Has anyone ever taken anything from your carts while youve left them unsupervised to get the car? If you tried that where i live you'd probably have stuff stolen. 😔
For Taco Tuesdays we can easily eat 4-6 pounds of ground beef. For crockpot night I make extra because then we eat the leftovers for lunch on Saturdays. So the 17 pound pork shoulder will be two meals for us. With Chicken I try to have 1 piece per person. Not everyone will eat a full piece but Josh and I love leftover chicken for our lunches. Some nights we have Nana and Papa here so I factor that in as well.
AWESOME HAUL!! What fun....until checkout and loading in the van. LOL Costco has a lot of stuff but they don't have a very big variety...that's where Wegman's is better.
