I just wanted to share my huge grocery tip with you. I have a family of 7. I use bins for my groceries. It's so much easier than all the bags. It also stops the groceries from falling and rolling around in the van. I also can separate the groceries in the bins so the frozen and refrigerated stuff can be put away first. I also found it a lot easier to carry in a bin rather than a bunch of bags. ❤️

Yes, house tour, please! I think my fav's so far...aside from the swimming pool ones I also love...are those that showcase your vast organizational abilities...like food storage and arrangements. I would also love to see a detailed video of your kitchen, where are all those pots and pans, plates and glasses all located? The Walmart stores by me usually have about 10 restock carts full of stuff all crammed into the customer service area. Doesn't ever seem like there's a rush to get that stuff back on the shelves. That's so weird that yours disappear. 🤔 probably because it's mostly perishable. Ps...a large orangey spot on the watermelon means it ripened a bit on the vine and will be very sweet. It should also sound a bit hollow when you thump it. 🍉

I love how you get things that each one loves or wants to try. I wish I could be as diligent every day to keep up with meals and shopping! And now it’s only my husband and I!!! Good job I say!

I love how you get the specific items for kids need. Even if it's different for each kid, also I love how you really honor the fact that they do have biological parents and that some of them need a little contact with them obviously if it's safe or wanted of course. I have had several tornado warnings and power outages so I went to Walmart to completely stock up for an emergency and we got so much of the same items. Only it’s just my boyfriend, our dog and myself lol😂 we got a three month supply and it looks like your normal daily shop! Honestly, you’re amazing and an inspiration to so many! When growing up without paper towels (couldn’t afford) we drained fried foods on brown paper bags and it works so much better than paper towels.

I’m in NJ and shop at Walmart a lot and I agree, they’ve upped their produce game. I’ve been impressed lately.

Something that blew my mind as a canadian was that i learned like a year ago from my friend in texas that what you guys call colby jack cheese we call marble cheese😂 Also the difference between a walmart in Canada compared to the USA is kinda crazy like coming down to the size of packages and the different brands is pretty cool to see watching these. I also have watched way too many of these videos that I know how many of each item you’re gonna get like the chicken I literally guessed you were gonna get 4 before you said it😂

whenever i'm feeling down i look up to your videos, is just so amazing how you love your kids and make everything the best possible for them without never complaining, it makes me happy that there are still moms like that on the world

Tip : start in produce and shelf items then do the yogurt/ cream cheese etc and freezer sections last so stuff doesn't sit and spoil~ put the freezer stuff in with the yogurt and cream cheese etc - like you did with the meat ~especially with our heat waves lately- Hawaiian pizza is the best !! No judging here also the sweet pickles, he has good taste ! If your hubby is trying to lower blood pressure get the low sodium Soy Sauce

Just a small tip as a Walmart employee:) it's better if you pay for the first cart of groceries if you can, it's more likely to not be put away and also helps the cashier just in case it's busy they won't be as stressed since you have two carts 🙂

I'm with you about the big bottles of creamer I get the sweet cream flavor but I'm going to try the one you get I bet it is so good. I used to get my bananas with no green on them but since I have been watching you I pick my bananas just like you because I have noticed that they last longer and don't go bad before I use them. I'm so jealous of your prices! And Australia is having a lettuce shortage! $12 a lettuce (if you can find one) and KFC is using cabbage on their burgers!

One thing about the round lettuce is that it’s mainly core. Not a lot of green leaves {greener the better}. Consider switching to the romaine {sometimes you can find a three pack}. Slice it up and put it in a salad spinner and you’re set. I use to buy the round letter until it messed with my stomach because of the water in the core part. Walmart has good bread {if you have a bakery in it!}. Also, check the apples and make sure no nail marks are in them before you eat them {nail marks = bacteria}. Great video!! Omg… 14 kiddos now!! Not sure how I found this video, but was nice watching it. As someone who works at Walmart, try telling an employee about the cart thing. We have people who do it often, and we just hold it by the service desk til they come back.

You can make a turon a la mode and add a scoop of vanilla ice cream when you serve it. 😁 One of the best street foods ever. You can never go wrong with adobo, it's one food that I will never get tired of eating. And pancit! I'm at the point in my life where I will take pancit over spaghetti anytime.

How is your WalMart so chill, OMG I would love to do more grocery shopping there but it's always insane, it doesn't matter what day or time I go

As a Walmart associate I can tell you possibly why your cart gets restocked....people who want to steal often leave full carts "abandoned " near the exit or emergency exits. They will wait till they think the cost is clear and try to grab the cart and leave. We now wait a few minutes and then take the cart to customer service. I know you aren't stealing but we tend to air on the side of caution.

That's awesome that Alex has that gift. It's definitely a gift. My son Aaron is like that with building things, really good a puzzles too. Now he's in the Navy "building " submarines.

Just wanted to say , as someone who’s from Germany , this is a real culture shock for me! Especially the portion sizes they sell are insane. Just for reference in Germany you wouldn’t get a package of 5 pounds of chicken , our largest chicken package size is maybe 1kg which is about 2 pounds…

You should try the no box spring route. I know crazy. But we tried one of the platform beds and not only are they great prices but are so easy to put up and down. On top of that they are so much more stable feeling and no sound of a box spring. Love them.

I go to Walmart to push the cart weekly because my mom can't push something heavy till her sutures are removed. She has them for three months.

Jackfruit is usually in a can! That’s the best way we’ve found it I love making vegetarian pulled pork style sandwiches with jackfruit!

Shopping meat tip: you should never put chicken on top of other foods in case of cross contamination and those chicken breasts looked like they were pre frozen which means you shouldn't try to refreeze them unless you're going to use them right away. and if you said you were going to sorry, I missed that section of your commentary. lol

As a former walmart employee. Its because walmart uses carts to restock items. Usually the restock carts are full and have no label on it. You are told as an employee to restock those carts. In general speaking terms, many businesses do this. Costco does the same thing and I have worked for them too. Even in a regular store as a shopper, you cant really tell if a cart is being used or not. Even if it has items because people do actually abandon their carts. It is far more common then many want to admit. I saw it many times at walmart. So I mean, its a give and take. I can see your frustration when they begin restocking items but walmart isn't quiet about this. They have their restocking carts at the front of the store full and you know its to restock returned items or items people didn't want anymore at the check out. I used to have to take an empty cart and go around walmart and pick up abandoned items and some came from abandoned carts. I worked days and nights with them and you saw it. I guess its a lesson learned then b/c its not like they're doing it with bad intention. You can get in trouble as an employee if you cant make room for customers and that means removing abandoned items and carts. You get asked why you've done nothing. So a sign is good to have on your cart but also remember how it can be seen as something else to an employee. You just cant abandon carts and if you need another cart, it is a risk you take abandoning your cart. If my family and I are at costco, one of us stays with the cart because you just shouldn't abandon it. Even other shoppers can take items our of your cart and take the cart if it doesn't look in use. Even if I didn't work for them in my life, we just have to observe shopping behavior. Also fun note... fruity pebbles are new to canada this month! Also we love pinapple on pizza, so your kid can be an honorary canadian.

I have a tip that my grandpa taught me before he passed for picking watermelons! The ripest and sweetest ones are the ones that have bigger patch of yellow that means it was sitting on the ground for a while before being picked so it had a chance to sweeten & ones that have really big and unsymmetrical white lines 😊

Hey um a tip for if your chickens aren't lay or not laying as much is you feed them the empty egg Shells Or you get them some form of dried buges. And if you have older chickens You can buy them oyster shell eggs And you just mix it in with your normal feed. Hope this helps

I learned with watermelon you can "check" if it's good by tapping it and listening to the sound of it. If it sounds hollow, then it has an "open heart" meaning the inside has cracked and opened up a bit. Apparently they taste a lot sweeter. And if I remember correctly you have a bigger chance of getting a sweeter flavor on a seedless than a seeded. But seeded ones are usually bigger. And for fresh pineapples, to figure out if it's ripe you smell the bottom of it and if it has that faint pineapple smell it's ripe. And thank you for your videos!

I have a kid with food sensory problems too, and he will only eat Lays Stax Cheddar as chips. I have tried to trick him, when stores were out, with other brands, but he knows. Only Lays is good enough. Gotta love that they know what they want 😂🥰

😵‍💫I know about big family...more than one cart...and being afraid of losing one when you're looking else where! 🙄 But for a while now I start going at walmart and just letting them make my shopping for me... If like me you dont want to pay with your personal credit card, just buy a pre-paid one, make your shopping online and just go receiving it! 😜 Same if they use to look a little discourage by my shopping, at least I didn't have to worried anymore! The packaging sizes in America truly amaze/horrify me. But not in a bad way really. Its hard to imagine seeing such big packages of frozen veggies or a big bag of grapes or oranges in my country. And to add to all of that, you grab SEVERAL of these things. Really hard to wrap my mind around how much food such a big family needs when the only person I need to feed and buy food for is me. Even if all of these grocery runs you do might be hours of hard work, I do imagine it being quite satistying to cook for such a large group. Also really love the theme days you guys have!

Just a suggestion... we have autistic children in our class and we've been told that using scent free products is healthier for them. Fragrance free laundry detergent deodorants soaps shampoo etc. It's actually healthier for everyone in the household as your not breathing in chemicals ( which aren't even listed in ingredients) all day especially sleeping on bedding that has long lasting fragrance We've been scent free for years and it's worked out great.
