Exactly because they knew if she made it to the hospital and she could still talk, she would tell them that they needed to do a rape kit and they would do it and these cops would loose their jobs, be charged with rape, go to prison and be humiliated by the news reports.
The real question is does these incidents make them want to join us in actual reform that would put cops like this in prison and not push good cops out who do try to do the right thing and expose crimes by them.

Would you want to stay in the same space as the man that raped you and has been lying about you? I wouldn't. As a paramedic, I, unfortunately, had several calls with rape victims. Most of them don't want to be touched or taken care of by men. I used to get called out on these types of calls just to take them to the hospital. Rape is horrible. These women want to get far away from even the males who are truly trying to help them. The back doors in a police cruiser are usually locked.

@@josieshoxx If you wanted the truth after already making up your mind, you could have looked at the autopsy report, report from Lori's Place, found out what jail procedure for checking for drugs and contraband is for arrestees, both men and women, across the country (pretty standard), and followup reports and testimony. As a former inmate I can tell you this is all BS on the cops part. When ever you are being transported they check you top to bottom, inside and out. They clamp those cuffs down tight and chain you to the seat. They murdered this woman because they knew they were guilty of what they were accused of and knew if she would get tested that it wouldn't come back in their favor.

I worked on various police depts. And the back seat where prisoners or detainees are put...CANNOT BE UNLOCKED FROM BACK SEAT...THE LOCK CAN ONLY BE "UNLOCKED" BY A BUTTON ON FRONT DRIVER SIDE DASH...ACCESSED ONLY BY A COP DRIVING VEHICLE.
Damn this whole situation is infuriating. They were on their way to the hospital and made it within 2 blocks yet it still took 45 mins for medical personnel to arrive on the scene. You cant convince me that the police didn't kill her.

I saw this story when it first came out a year ago and I have had nightmares about it ever since. This is beyond horrifying. And for the female officer to do what she did on top of what already happened to her is devastating as a woman myself who has experienced some things and has two daughters of my own. I hope the officers who were involved never live this down and I hope the family is compensated greatly. That’s the only way to teach animals like this who do these things a lesson. This is the worst possible news a family can get.

First off, she is doing a search. Theses type of allegations are made all of the time and the searches are recorded. The dumb criminals think they are gonna get away with it.

It's done all the time, unfortunately. Some require it. There's several channels on YT of ex inmates that tell horror stories of them being checked rectally for suspicion of drug's. It's hard to believe that it's legal
She may have jumped from her attacker(s) but they allowed it. They never shackled her, the door wasnt locked. She could have been shoved or jumped. Either case all officers involved in the transport should be held accountable and there should be video footage of what the female officer did or didnt do, right?

Exactly why would someone in for a shop lifting charge jump out of a speeding vehicle on the way to the hospital to be examined. Sounds like somebody didnt want her to make it to that hospital to be examined.
how did she got out of 3 different chains? and a child lock door? There's no way she get through all four of those locks without the officers sitting in the front noticing it!!!!!!!! She had two "rape kits" done by a clinic in Cochise county and she was going to get either an MRI or an ultrasound when surveillance footage shows her jumping from the vehicle, the officers turned around and blocked traffic to protect her while administering CPR. The entire incident was on camera and many believe she was stalling being extradited to another county as she was facing prison. Trust me the officer she accused of rape is hated by his peers and not a single one would defend him had her accusations been true. Many officers wanted to see him fired despite knowing his innocence in this case.
They don’t use shower gel or give you showers in holding cells or in prison and if they do no way she could get out of 3 separate cuffs unless she had help from the cop who had the keys. Foul play on the pigs for sure
She lied about the officers. I saw her jump from the transport vehicle and the officers used said vehicle to block traffic from hurting her further. By all available evidence, she was an addict with a warrant she did not want to be extradited for. It's sad that she died, but the officers are innocent.
Ok so there was an update to all of this. This poor girl was just struggling with mental health and substance abuse. She begged her mom to bond her out of jail because she wanted to be home for christmas and her mother wouldn't bond her out, she herself was probably at the end of her rope with her daughter not knowing how to help her. So, her mother refused to bond her out and then she started making claims she was being sexually assaulted. As far as the female officer sodomizing her, the entire interaction was recorded and the officer did nothing to her. She also had 2 rape kits performed on her and both of them found no evidence of semen, vaginal tearing or any injuries that would describe the violent rape she claimed to ha e happened to her. They had her on a suicide watch while she was in the jail because of statements she had made and the police think she was trying to harm herself when she jumped. As far as her jumping, this is the only mistake police made by not making sure the child lock was on. I understand this family was and probably still is in alot of pain, their daughter qas struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues and I think she thought if she told her mom she was raped, her mom would bond her out. These are things they left out in these reports, they don't give a fair representation, they just make it seem as if something horrible was done to this girl. I hope her family can find peace in knowing even though she is gone, she was able to help others continue their life with her donations.

Yeh I don’t know. Her shoes and one pair of cuffs were neatly laid on the opposite side she “jumped” from which was the door that had no child lock. That makes zero logical sense to me and neither does her “jumping” from the back seat and landing under the back wheel or the video showing her already lifeless when she leaves the vehicle. I don’t doubt she had something else going on that the family isn’t sharing considering she had a warrant out and was arrested to begin with. Another video I watched said many others came forward about SA from that jail. It’s very tragic all around.
@@Mimioftwins It's NOT impossible. Depending on the interior kit installed in the back seat of that particular patrol car, it could have been very possible to open the rear door. Some less secure transport cars even have door handles that are locked from the front drivers seat, some only use the "child lock" feature to keep the people in the back from opening the door.

The surveillance footage shows she jumped and with how much local officers hate the guy she accused of rape, they wanted him to get fired despite him not being guilty.
So I just took a quick fifteen minutes and did some digging because these stories upset me. By all appearances this was an escape gone horribly wrong. If it were a cover up, there isn’t enough admissible evidence to support it in a criminal court. Maybe not in civil court either. The coincidental aspects of both the shower gel escape from restraints and the child safety lock being left un engaged is simply not enough. Sadly in court it is not about what you know, but what you can prove.
This is absolutely abhorrent behavior and I know it’s true because I had a friend who was an officer and he admitted to me how disgusting some officers were in regards to crimes like this. He told me cops would sexually molest and rape arrested females during transport and also told me that those same cops were in a coo mob. He said that they frequently would be in bars and commit other similar crimes. There should be cameras in and on every single angle of that car, along with mics so these things stop happening. This is an absolute tragedy and my heart goes out to these parents. I cannot imagine their anger and grief. Praying for them. ❤

It does, but officers count on "criminals" not being cared about or treated as people, just animals they Have to control. What officers say is the only final word anyone cares about in these situations, till something like this gets out or happens. Never are "inmates" given proper medical care and never in a timely manner. No one cares what happens to them unless it was Another inmate. Then they both get more charges for fighting, no details matter. To many stories of things happening in lockup. To many traumatized by an event that they will never see justice for, let alone even just be herd when they speak out about it. I still have physical issues from an incident in 2009. After I had a full hysterectomy and still had visible stitches on the outside and on the INSIDE. I was laughed at for not moving fast enough and putting my pants on with the waist rolled down( to keep them from rubbing and hurting my stitches). I was booked and put in general population for literally 3 hours before they released me. Over a 4 year old ticket I forgot to pay. I was searched before I was even booked, I was searched again when they had me dress in the scratchy jail clothes. And when the officer searched me before putting me in a cell she was extra hard and hurt me to the point I started bending over, I did Not move my hands from the wall. The officer then pushed me up straight and something popped inside and pain shot threw me. I dropped to the floor and cried out and she yelled at me that "she saw no stitches, stop crying and being overly dramitic. I am fine" she told the other officer to keep an eye on me, I might be one of those overly dramatic emotional ones. They mad e me get up and walk to the cell the whole time laughing and yelling at me to move faster. I still cry now typing this. But I know I am not the only one who has had stuff like this happen.
That’s exactly how most jails & prisons operate 🤷♂️ guard on prisoner violence is very common. What most people don’t realize is 95% of jailers are failed cops who couldn’t make it either because of intellectual and/or physical deficiencies (a lot of them have physical deformities) and they take out their frustrations on the prisoners. They also treat prisoners based on what they see in movies and even worse they mistreat them because they’re trying to impress the actual cops. The last time I was in jail the guards purposely refused me my medicine (that I must take) and gave us moldy food which was a burrito that was rock hard and covered in mold and the beans & cheese inside were nuked into a hard dry gritty mush (like what you’d get cooking a frozen burrito for 5 minutes in the microwave instead of 1). The only thing edible I got in the 12hrs I was in there was grape flavored sugar/drink mix to stir into water. If I hadn’t bailed out I would’ve ended up in the hospital in serious trouble because of the way they treat you (I wasn’t in there for anything big that could potentially justify bad treatment from guards like murder or harming a child I was in there because of an unpaid ticket I wasn’t even aware was unpaid). This jail was a “nice” clean one in a leafy suburb of a big city I can’t even imagine the treatment you get in big city jails. Who knows maybe it’s better and you only have to worry about other inmates either way my ass is never going back to any jail.
"I wasn't there to protect my baby." That was heartbreaking. Those officers threw that poor girl out of the vehicle. Either that or they made her fear for her safety to the point that she thought jumping out of the vehicle was less dangerous than staying in the vehicle.
@@aquamarineblue8690 She got the gel from the bathroom of the clinic where her rape kit was done. Video shows her jumping and falling under the wheel of the transport vehicle. It also shows the immediate use of said vehicle to block traffic from hitting her while officers tried to revive her. Trust me, with how many cops hate the guy she accused of rape, they would never defend him if it weren't true. People convinced of his innocence wanted him fired. Also, I've personally seen a grown man escape cuffs, so I don't think her escape was impossible.

Let’s pretend for a second that the inmate jumped out of the car… the LE had a duty to preserve life - should have radioed it in, had an ambulance come - they were 2 blocks away but let her bleed out 45 minutes. That alone should catch charges .. but lbvs we know what really happened

Why would a police vehicle EVER have those doors able to unlocked from the inside. They are always child locked, but for some reason the child locks were disengaged. Why, and who did it?

Then how did she jump from the vehicle? I saw it with my own eyes. The officers even blocked traffic to shield her from getting run over. I feel she was running from a more serious charge in another county because the warrant was extraditable. Also, DNA didn't match either accused officer and there were no signs of sodomy.
Actually it IS possible to go under the back wheel if someone jumps out of a back door, I don't know why you'd believe that's impossible but I've seen it happen before.

I would also imagine that the way one would get run over in any way in her circumstances would be if her leg got caught under the back wheel. Perhaps if she fell out of a truck or other large car then she could get her whole body underneath it.

I know someone who spent a week in the Graham County jail, for expired plates on their truck. They were stopped on a roadway because their car had broken down, and they put them in the jail for a week. It's been a couple of months, but they are still getting jerked around by the county. Who goes to jail for expired tags, and no warrant at all.
The irony is that we[BLACK] people have been telling the world about these cops, and when we do, the world doesnt believe us. Now after this story and many others...we will see. This isn't a policy change, the cops need to be behind bars. Police punishment.

Which is more likely: That she slipped three different restraints with no bruising on her wrists and jumped to her death on the day they _just happened_ to leave the door unlocked, or that she was pushed out of the speeding car to cover up abuse?

No, not impossible. I've been cuffed in front of me before. The same arrest I was able to open my door and step out when we arrived. Not every cop car has one way doors. Not every cop cuffs suspects behind their backs. Not impossible.

She was in custody the whole time so who's male dna was it then couldn't have been another inmate as they do not house male and female inmates together. I also did not see any mention of shower gel in the autopsy report?
This would in no way shape or form fall under qualified immunity...but even still, nothing will happen. When it's supposedly "just a few bad apples" why is it so hard for the "good apples" to stand up for whats right? Isn't the quote "A few bad apples spoil the bunch"?
