Family Struggles After Losing It All to Toxic Train Disaster

Maura Todd and her family lost nearly everything after a freight train pulling tons of toxic chemicals flew off the tracks in their tiny town of East Palestine. They used to have a nice home in the Ohio hamlet. Now they live in a camper in Kentucky. The environmental catastrophe caused by that crash included leaking vinyl chloride, a known cause of cancer in humans. Massive chemical testing still continues. The Todds will never go back. "I have nightmares about that train," says Maura.

@@TheLalacream you don’t understand what im asking lol. Lighting an explosive chemical on fire should of instantly set it all off in a huge explosion. You never light an explosive chemical on fire! As far as im concerned they light it on fire so they didn’t have to clean it up because it would of cost 10’s of millions so instead they burned it all to make clean up cheaper short term.

@@SignalMan9292 thats exactly what im saying… does anyone read lol. The whole reason they lit it on fire was to stop an explosion. But it didnt explode when lit on fire there for it was not explosive too begin with so there was no point to light it on fire to begin with 😅

most likely it wasn't the company's fault but the fact they decided to transport chemicals via train and not some sort of security transport is on their part the derailment of the train is unknown but most likely someone put rocks on the track and or railing wasn't stabilize
