The 70's was OsMania! I loved them! All talented and good looking!😍my fave was Donny and 2nd Merrill. Such a wonderful family. I love the Osmonds! Still going strong..particularly Donny and Marie. Thank you for posting this!
It wasn't bad that Donny was getting so much attention, but it was their career destruction to have Donny separate. It was a bubblegum fad that would soon go away. If the group would have stayed together, they would have had more success in rock like they wanted. To say Donny had more talent than the others is not correct. They all could sing and they all had talent. They proved that on the Andy Williams show, which btw: the original four were great at. Why all the hype about Donny I don't understand. He attracted the young girls. The rest of the group still had their fans wanting more of their music. Unfortunately, the D&M show ruined the Osmond brothers chances of getting into the rock music, which they were extremely talented with. You can see it in some of the rare footages if your lucky enough to find them.
Donnie seems so full of himself! For him to publicly criticize Jay's choreography was in poor taste, which is probably why I like the original Four Brothers much better!
