Lmao her highest supported note is either D5/Eb5 or even maybe E5. She sang alot of supported D5s and Eb5s with her light natural tone in her B2B tour. These are just a result of some haters who urge people saying her highest supported note is G#4/A4 and dumbass people follow these claims.
No the video title is supported notes at their best. Otherwise everyone's would probably be B4s at most just because of the nature of voices deteriorating. But I'm sure Christina has supported at least B4s before.
@@beyzee8516 She has been really consistant with high notes through all her career. I invite you to watch videos of her lives. I'm quite shocked about this video 'cause Xtina has reached F5 and G5 a lot of time. In multiple songs just to cite few of them makes me wanna pray, something's got a hold on me, at last etc And the most ironic thing is that in 3:42 the singer is singing one of Xtina's song frome Burlesque I mean come on loool Xtina did better
Beyoncé being a mezzo-soprano supporting more notes than the sopranos is EVERYTHING ❤️ She mastered all the registers that she sings💥 So hyang is literal GODDESS 🔥
@@bestvocalsbyvocalists849 Beyonce is a Mezzo Soprano. Her tessitura sits on the higher end of Mezzo. But she doesn't really stay in Soprano tessitura .
@@qlimax95 her tessitura is VERY much within the soprano limit, but her vocal color has darkened over the years, she just uses VERY advanced chest coordination and a weighty sound but she is still very much a soprano
@pinklamborghini she is sure the best in middle and upper notes she never straining from 2011 untill now, her lower note is improving so much and she has the quality to support E3 and almost consistent on F#3 too.
@@duducoto1750 Yesss is impressive that her voice can go that high, but her tone is annoying, also Ariana, her voice is irritating. They are good singers, specially Sohyang but her tones are too high, silly unpleasant, and stressful, no depth, no musicality. You hear Whitney and Mariah singing is completely diferent.
@@luxmain69 no, just means that there’s a very few singers in that world that can support and achieve a full, resonant, well placed, tension-free, correctly balances mix with a no-sky high larynx ...! People may not like Sohyang’ stone but nobody can touch her technique ! She’s above almost everyone (for support, belt, mix)
@@rydercdaniels4475 i disagree. for me, there is a huge difference between 'skill' and 'talent'. for instance, christina aguilera naturally has a beautiful voice, impressive agility and range. that's talent. but she lacked the brilliance, musicianship and overall skills that beyonce possess. *hard work beats talent*
Because they are the real singers, except Lara who is not supported. terrible diction, lowers her larynx, terrible phonation and distortion on her vowels as she ascends.. tongue in her throat, concave mouth instead of convex. Just terrible!
Odumosu Olusegun I cant explain it because it’s not there 😂😂 her jaw and throat are relaxed and her larynx is too. She’s healthily producing the sound (if it were unhealthy then the creator wouldn’t have put her here)
@@jjalbizures6968 they are not. Her tongue placement is off.. her tongue is pushing on her hyoid bone and her larynx is low as hell, her mouth is concave instead of convex. Voce Ingolota. The creator does not know what good singing is.. he/she is misleading people. It is too obvious, artificial dark sound, brightness as she ascends, muffled , obscured sound, lack of clarity which are clear hallmarks of ingolota. Her voices looses core and clarity and there is no true scuro..the overtones that you should hear are produced by chest voice by engaging thyro-arytenoid function is not here.. Just like how people who use falsetto have no chest voice core in their production . tHEY ARE ENGAGING CRICO-THyROID PARTICIPATION!
Mariah had the best, she did it with such ease while still sounding pleasant and beautiful. One of the best voices music industry has come across. I loved lady gaga, soh yang and others too.
@@m.l5485 lmao are you dumb? those kind of mics were not available during the early 90's. Also, if you believe that her vocals were edited then you must be pretty ignorant and stupid. HAHAHA Also, just checked your account you are a Celine fan and just cause you don't like Mariah doesn't mean is mature enough to talk bullshit :)
Diego Novelo no one said they were all screaming, but I don’t see how people enjoy her unsupported unhealthy sounding screams... in certain live performances and songs
Rosa Sutter If it’s unsupported and sounds good I can’t see the problem, I can agree with you that her singing live sometimes is a mess, but in studio she sound beautifully controlled, even if she doesn’t support.
@@Gisaround No,I didn't mean that.I mean there's always so hyang in his/her videos.She/he is a big fan of her.So hyang and a lot of other korean singers are my favorite too. They're unbelievable.
*Sohyang* is the Queen of highest supported & resonant belts here! 👑 *Mariah* has the most pleasant sounding highest supported belt 🌟 *Beyonce* is the Mezzo Queen of highest supported & resonant belts ✨ *Christina Aguilera* is the Queen of highest supported & resonant notes amongst the Baritones 🌌 (JK) This shows that support isn't all there is to being a vocalist; *Xtina* is a superior vocalist to a lot of the singers who support higher than her (Camila, Katy Perry, Kesha, Adele etc.) The *Mezzo-Sopranos* are supporting higher than a lot of *Sopranos* here 💀 Please do one for male vocalists & please add *Dimash* 😏 *P.S.* I wish Leona was in here 😊
Jorge Luis Escudero Mendoza It’s still very good for a mezzo, even if a few other mezzos can support higher. Lady Gaga still supports higher in mixed voice than a lot of full sopranos. Also Christina supporting to F5? I don’t know about that one.
Jorge Luis Escudero Mendoza Well you did say reach, not support. But I assumed support was being insinuated since we were talking about notes that said singers can support.
@jocriss totally. Anyway I agree, support is not everything that counts. There are many other factors that count so much more. And besides the whole definition of support is something that even the so called "vocal coaches" don't agree about.
(Sorry for the late reply to this video!) But, my favourites and queens are: ❤️❤️❤️ *Beyonce, Whitney, Mariah, Celine and Tori!!! They all have amazing voices, incredible vocal ranges and amazing songs that l LOVE!!!* ❤️❤️❤️❤️😘 l LOVE them all soooooo MUCH!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️😘
@evandro gouveia well, that note is tension free, not resonant for sure, but supported, who is the next, sohyang and Natalie weiss losing support on Bb5s?
@@vanessaruiz4705 lol mention one pls? yeah they probably can belt higher, but u know what her technique is Beyond perfect thats why shes called as the Queen Of Belting and one of the best singer in the world and yeah i dont think no one in this world can match So Hyang in Belting except Vanesa Amorosi but yeah other that that Sounds Strain af 😅
@@yulensmarco7568 i am not getting into this kind of discussion because I love So hyang, i only said that there are singers who can belt higher and I wish they were on this video to make the fight "fair". Because you say she slayed them, but she didnt have much competence in this video to begin with. There are others who would make a better comparison.
@Spring_ Wind well then I don't think that makes them better than SoHyang over all, they're just better at low notes and SoHyang is better at high notes, SoHyang is in fact the best at supporting high notes, Aretha (or someone else, idk anything about lows) is the best at low notes, and they're both the best at something, so there's no such thing as overall better
Everyone's preoccupied with support, I know no one may mention that among the vocalists here, Sara Bareilles may have the most number of beautiful original songs. She recently wrote a play too. Happy she's included. What a talent..
Actominator of course not I love them all they are three of the most amazing singers of today (Ariana's my biggest vocal inspiration and my idol 😍. She literally taught me how to sing high notes without actually teaching me).
@@varunravi27 i would ask you to rethink that. Not discrediting her but the main reason she belts high is because she has a high voice, you should start with singers who belt higher than their voice level. I would say start with barbra or judy for Broadway belts and Aretha or Mahalia for gospel belts. If you wanna continue with Ariana, it's completely okay but be sure to not lose your chest dominance.
@@MIXANDMTCH Really?!?! I Didn't Know...I've Heard Her Exclaim an A5 But Nothing Higher, I'm Not Sure If You Can Count Exclamations As Part Of an Vocal Range?

Not enough people are praising Monica Naranjo. A dramatic soprano with a wonderful technique barely known outside of Spain and Mexico, even though she’s one of the best if not the best Hispanic singer alive
I can't believe Mexico has forgotten such an amazing singer just to be represented by some attempt of rappers who sing instead of rapping and just appreciate a few good singers like Yuri and on the latest years hmm... Danna Paola?,she seems to care about being good at singing though my ears aren't trained and barely knows to say if she is even capable of supporting
Qaid well sometimes you can literally see them raising their larynx, but otherwise you can tell by a distinct change in tone or the adoption of a harsh/strained sound
Some notes were wrong, but nice video. Jona's C#5 sound so full and open! Katy's mid belts are so powerful. She deserves more appreciation. Vanessa is phenomenal. Btw, Kim Yeonji's killers Eb5s are missing. I wish you've added her more often.
Queen Sara Bareilles. Another queen mezzo-soprano from different galaxy. Such a queen Her voice is soul full and etc i cant describe her voice and her personality you must watch her singing!

God Adele gets me every time, woman can sang. She might not have Sohyang’s incredible range but I much prefer Adele’s, well everything else 😍 Also, who is that at 3:25? She sounds great!
Celine Patti whitney mariah and lara showing you that even with a supported belting range ending around F#5/G5 you can still fuck everyone up it's just about CONTROL!
@@knightenchanter7908 What? Her low notes are also pretty decent for soprano. Listen to her Korean songs which she usually sings like 'Hug me' or 'Wind song'
@Spring_ Wind Get your facts right please, her consistent support goes down to a G3 which is really good for a lyric soprano with a higher tessitura than avarage. And her mid belts are well projected and resonant, especially on chesty mix. Just do some research
That G5 is non-existent, yes, but it's not like the original sustained B4 belt, she did glissando up to F5 actually in undubbed version which is still impressive. She was probably gonna hit some kind of high note but she seemed to be not sure and suddenly decided not to go higher cause she probably afraided of messing up that iconinc moment in the song.
If im going to tell who is the best Lows miley and beyonce Mid belts tori kelly and jojo ofc and celine b4s and d5s are amazing and gaga High belts sohyang Head voice sohyang again lol and whitney and celine Falsettoo christina aguielera Whistle riperton and mariah
Lol tho you clearly have research to do. Mariah can do supported lows down to the 2nd octave and support up to the G5 area with the most pleasant tone. Sohyang might be able to reach, support and even resonate in the 6th octave, but Mariah's upper belts sound perfect, for it sounds effortless, with no tone variations, her voice from C5-G#5 sounds pure and doesn't get annoyingly squeaky, bc that is the case of most singers out there.
G DRP eh uhm but Miley and Beyoncé and jojo can support higher and Mariah cannot support in the 2 octave she just can support to d3 and it did not sound fully supported it seems she lowered her larynx a lil bit but we can consider it supported , and the pleasant shit and idk it is not about technique btw she cannot hold a note I mean in the upper belts like her g5 is for 2 seconds she does not have that good stamina , watch vanessa Amorosi 🤦🏻♀️ and Mariah can consistently just support to f#5 or even f5 but sohyang to C6 and b5 , and Mariah hv is weak compared to sohyangs hv
@@versecorner507 Just saying, Mariah has not yet shown that she can sing a 2nd octave note with breath support live. Miley and Beyoncé can. You're the one who has research to do because Mariah, despite having better lows than all other sopranos in mainstream music, CANNOT support 2nd octave notes. Also, below G5, Mariah beats SoHyang easily but above that, it's shameful to compare the two because obviously SoHyang will win. Miley can support down to Bb2 and Beyoncé can support down to B2, while Mariah can support down to C#3.
