Wow! What a Incredible World Tour on this Viewers Special #18! We visited 21 Countries-starting with Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Italy, Venice, Monaco, Greece, Hungary, Ukraine, Israel, Malaysia, Taiwan, Australia, Uruguay and Argentina! A definite first to see other countries not seen before was extraordinary and a first Gangster to visit! This Tour was so well researched, presented and threaded together that kept drawing one in for more! Well Done to all who shared their Cemetery finds and to the Genius who orchestrated the Tour into a Perfect Success! Thanks Arthur, Loved it! 🖤
I remember perfectly the first time that I found Arthur and his vlog, many years ago, when he started.. I was sik at home from work, it was autumn; bed, ipad, cold and rainy days.. I started with one video, the two days after I saw all videos, a drug! Amazing! “ and that’s conclude our tour..” immediately we want another video! 💻 Greetings from Venice, Italy 🇮🇹🙋♀️ (one day I have to send you some videos graves from San Michele cemetery here in Venice, there are many many artists here!)
I may not know the majority of these people, but the thing I like about this channel is that it also explains who they are and why we should know them. Love this channel and will always watch a new video immediately and then will be jonesing for another one shortly after :)
Been sleeping all day due to contracting covid. Woke up about 2 hours ago, saw this had posted. What a great way to spend some time. Great trip around the world.
Thank you for presenting this video! It brought back a lot of great memories for our Dad. He was a voice student of Franco Corelli's back in the mid 1970s, and seeing Corelli's grave brought tears to our Dad's eyes. He told us Mr. Corelli was such a great man, singer, and wonderful teacher. Dad misses him very much! Thank you again for doing this! 🙏🙏❤️❤️🙂🙂
I literally stopped whatever I was doing and watched this in complete silence. This is the first time one of your videos has rendered me completely entranced. I deeply appreciate your efforts and the efforts of your fans. Looking forward to the next one.
Some famous Americans burried in Norway that you might wanna check out: ANNE BROWN Opera Singer. A soprano, she is remembered for creating the role of Bess in George Gershwin's 1935 "Porgy and Bess". KEIKO the killerwhale from the Free Willy movies. The whale is burried on land next to a fjord. CASEY KASEM: American disc jockey, actor and radio presenter.
Very good, very informative! As a weather geek, I was particularly interested in the tribute to Christian Doppler. The Doppler radar has been instrumental in following storms and making storm warnings possible.
Rite of Spring is one of my favorite songs and it plays in Fantasia too! I can understand why Josephine Baker's remains weren't moved, but she was still given a Cenotaph. What an honor and well deserved! Amazing video as always. Excited for the next one! 🎉
This is one of my favorite episodes that this channel did. Its to bad that it rained in my country Canada when you allowed us to film our local cemeteries. But nevertheless I enjoyed this video. Seeing the tombs of Josephine baker, Zsa Zsa Gabor, and Edvard Grieg were a treat to see. Every time I watch these I feel historical secrets are revealed to me.
Hey Arthur, my first time commenting. Love the Channel, great videos. Your Channel was the very first Famous Graves Channel I started watching, other Channels would follow afterwards. I love the Viewer Specials series, keep up the great content
Great job, Arthur. Dame Nellie Melba is also famous for having the food Melba Toast named after her. A chef who was a fan of hers came up with the dish and it became a staple of her diet. He also created the dessert Peach Melba for her
Collette could probably be credited with discovering Audrey Hepburn. Audrey was a young actress when she came across Collette in a hotel lobby (I believe it was a hotel). Collette wanted her to play the lead role in the play Gigi based on her novella. Audrey got a lot of attention for that role.
sad news about Roger's grave: Sir Roger Moore's gravesite has been left "vandalised" after one adoring fan who visited the grave noticed the large shield representing Moore’s family and depicting their family crest had been ripped off, leaving it bare. The James Bond actor died in 2017 at the age of 89 after a "short but brave battle with prostate cancer" - being buried in an intimate and exclusive cemetery in La Colle, Monaco. A fan of his work recently visited the Cimetiere de Monaco and tried to find the late 007 actor's resting place by looking for a large family crest which marked the tombstone.
Sir Arthur can you do a Philippines special? There's a lot of filipino actors that go to hollywood and also lots of filipino legends that you can meet and know
Would someone please video the grave of Rob Pilatus, one half of the lip syncing duo Milli Vnilli, who was apparently laid to rest in an unmarked grave alongside his parents and grandparents? Waldfriedhof Cemetery, Munich, Germany
Thank you, Arthur, and thank you to everyone who contributed footage. Over 2000 submissions is absolutely amazing! All of you have made this taphophiles day. 😊
Arthur here Roger from Uruguay, I must thank you and I feel honored that you accepted my videos, that you shared the artists of my country with your community and with the entire World once again as they knew how to do with their wonderful Art. I hope to be able to send you more material for future videos in other categories as you previously announced that you would like to do as well. My sincere thanks and it is a privilege for me to be here.
What a nice surprise! I didn't think you'd have the viewers tour uploaded so soon with over 2,000 submissions. Love it! Thanks and can't wait to see more!!!❤
That tomb of Edvard Grieg was so unusual! Not only is his music from Peer Gynt known, but his lone piano concerto is instantly recognizable. The opening measures are known by everyone. Thanks, Arthur!
Agreed, what a neat and unique grave! "Morning Mood" is one of those pieces everyone has heard but may not know the name of. A thousand TV shows and movies have used it over scenes of a sunrise.
@TurquoiseStar17 I know Morning mood from Soylent Green when Edward G Robinson goes into die in the film such a moving scene with that piece of music.
Arthur, Handsdown, you have the best graveyard/history channel on RU-vid. Thank you for your expertly made videos and a voice that's as smooth as silk. ❤❤
Avicii, thank you for the memories man. So sorry for myself you checked out so soon, but we got you bro! Rockin' heaven with your tunes, they are so lucky! God bless you. 🙏🙏
As soon as I saw the US military cemetery in Luxembourg, I knew it was going to be Patton's Grave. He is a personal hero of mine, and I always wanted to see his grave.
It's not just the famous graves shown that make Arthur a YT GOAT... it's the music, the filming/editing, the descriptions of the dearly departed... All of these people who are dead live through Hollywood Graveyard.
Avicii is the best EDM/ Producer of all time and my favorite song of his Wake Me Up, Without You, and Friend of mine… his music will live on forever RIP Tim Berling Aka Avicii 🕊️🕊️🕊️
