I Loved this video. I loved listening to the Carter family and Johnny and June carter singing. Loved all of their songs. They were wonderful and amazing country music singers. Thank you so much for making this video!! What wonderful memories!
You sound similar to me. I love Johnny and the Carters. I appreciate you watching my videos. I’ve done others in Nashville, also. So you may be interested in finding those as well. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it greatly.
Watching from West Yorkshire, England just love these types of famous graves of musical type of people of the past although you brought some old memeries back when you shown Johnny Cash Grave remembered seeing him at Portsmouth UK going back a few years, very very interesting this one!!! can't believe these people have left us
I've seen a lot of people do tours of cemeteries you do them quite well and with a lot of class and you show people dignity and respect it reflects a lot upon you
I never knew who originated "Wings Of A Snow White Dove". TY...beautiful song. I used to live in the upper desert in Oregon. We would have fireworks every July 4th on top of a butte. It would often catch fire and one of my neighbors would play "Ring of Fire" on his CD player! 🤣 That's my twisted memory! Lol! Love Merle Kilgore's memorial with the cowboy boots on either side. I did not know that Rozana Cash had passed away. That was a shock!
I've just subscribed to your channel. I love the history associated with cemeteries and tombstones. Since I'm now disabled and can't hike, your channel give me joy and insight. Please post a link to your Facebook pay. Thanks-a-bunch.
I did find Ferlin's final resting place, quite by accident. As memory serves me, he is buried closer to the front part of the cemetery. I think you hang a right on the first road inside the gate. He is buried right next to the road.
I had the pleasure of visiting Hendersonville in July of 2016. One star that you missed was Sheb Woolley who is interred in the mausoleum. He was famous for singing Purple People Eater.
Thank you so much for the kind words. I’ve been to several places in Kentucky. Check out some of my other videos. I’ve been several places and have several more lined up to go to. Thanks.
Does anyone know what the R. Stands for in John. R. CASH FLY HIGH TO ALL THE STARS AS ALWAYS THANK YOU FOR SHARING WE APPRECIATE YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN KNOW
I’m pretty sure his name was J.R. Cash, and he was just named initials. His mother wanted him named John, his father wanted him named Ray. So this was a compromise.
If you ever get back out to the Hendersonville Memory Gardens, I hope you will find the gravesite of Don Bowman and post it also. I am not able to go there, and I would really like to see my cousin Don's gravesite. He was a famous entertainer also. Thank you. (And send me a message about it if you want.)
