This was classic Marching 100! A throw-back to the old-skool when this kinda excitement was the norm. Joe Bullard was on his game as well. Hubba, Doc!!
Hats off to the 100 (Classic 90's Marching 100). Yall came clocked and loaded this year and the band has to be commended for a excellent and entertaining show. We'll be ready next year though. Yall Rattlers know how the dice roll.
The 100 killed Cookman. There is no way anyone can say that cookman even came close to the 100 this game. FAMU is innovative,creative, and setting standards that other Bands follow. They have been greatest band to grace the field for over the last 50 years.
I gotta go with the 100 this year....BCC show wasnt bad...but the 100 went in for the kill....i've seen BCU get the 100 a too, but I havent seen BCC get got like this since 2001....lol both bands are my favorite and I dont attend either school, but from looking at both clips....the 100 owned halftime this year. I'm sure BCC will come harder next year though...so watch out 100 ;)
I've seen enough of FAMU in my time and I was really tired of seeing them BUT this was a real good show. You could feel the hate that they have for BCU in everything they did on the field great show FAMU!
@321dwood, yes sir indeed, I was looking at the "Choke at Doak" clip when they played here in 93 or 94, this was before overtime in college ball, they were tied 31-31, that was a hellified game, sorta like we did a few years back in the classic, 4th quarter comeback.
I almost feel bad for B-CU. They got dragged up & down the field during the game & during halftime. All jokes aside, much respect to Dr. Wells, Dr. Kibbe-Reed, & Coach Jenkins. Take care of business this weekend in Daytona Beach! Go Rattlers & Hubba Doc. RIP.
@321dwood, man U gotta give it up, U know they came to play !! on the field and in the band, it's nothing about riding anything, look at the BOB from 09, and just last weekend, U guys came out with the similar drill from 09, Da hundred showed up in BDU's that's creativity and innovativion.....which it proves there's alot of effort put into the routines, that's character.......so U have to admit they deserve the praise they are recieving.
Funny thing is, normally its BCU's announcer that's talking trash. Joe say little stuff most times and let the show speak for itself, but not this time.. He was in rare form for this show. It's like he said "F' it, I'm not gonna let BCU play "dueces", call it a tribute and get away with it.".lol
@sinfoniansax also some of BCU show was from FAMU past show don't know if they were trying to poke fun but it didn't work this time (Pull out the sticks) or whatever it's was called. BCU I like you but stay in your lane this one goes to FAMU HUBBA HUBBA HUBBA great show.
@321dwood, well let's do this, maybe BCU can come to a homecoming @ FAMU and U will see how pristine it gets, I mean there is no love lost !! we understand, I was there when ya'll left after the game, FAM was in 9 busses how many were U guys in ? If U say we are overrated, look at all the other HBCU bands that were not choosen by ESPN, BCU and FAMU are the most elite bands in the Conference, this is something we both can agree on.

I just watched the 2010 Fl Classic on Famu Tv-20, Can somebody please tell me what that formation was bcu was trying to make?Was it a breast cancer ribbon? The 100 showed they really have now competition. BCU need to realize that they are a good band and the 100 is a GREAT band. The stick man and stick woman having a drink was crazy, how do they come up with that stuff? Amazing show
@321dwood, neva mind the vote, my PC is on the fritz, I know U can't do nothing about that, cause through history we defined the very thing they tried for years to shut us out and we keep making history, they don't even understand ya'll don't have all that envy down there as we do here, ya'll are in Daytona all by yourself we have to compete against FSU in everything, a couple of years ago they wanted to take the School Of Engineering, thanks to Castell Bryant !! @321dwood, yeah I guess I dunno bout the drumline, I was there in the GC from 97 to 2000, we were off dah chaine, but it's an in town rivalry with FSU on everything, they will not invite da hundred to a game or come to band camps during the summer. White folk are not ready for that kinda movement ova there, which is why Doc. Foster founded and set the standard for marching bands, look at the clip when we played UF in 03, UF's band does not play the same after that.

@321dwood, and that might be the case, but wait til all your routines have to be cut in half due to controversy in the MEAC, over how long bands should have time for their shows.........They are coming for ya'll next. I got a challenge for you, look at all the other bands U guys have played against and U rate overall; their performances and U let me know who stands out....BCU n FAMU, we are the bigger and better bands in the whole conference.
I have a question why is everyone also hatin on FAMU they came and they showed BCWho up get the fuck over it and for everyone that sayin FAMU 100 is overated I want you to think about it who band has been around longer stop hatin and just expect the fact that the 100 are beast so STFU and get over it #damn gotta love my future school FAMU
@321dwood, ok Kool so how U feeling now that this is off your chess ? I'm not in school @ FAMU I work there..........U gotta know it's how rivalries are, Florida Will be up and the trash talking has already started, every since we played @ UF in 03 and the Gator Bowl in the 90's UF band plays more like an HBCU FSU, has not grasped that concept, but they will not invite us to play @ DOAK, they say what we do is not what a band is supposed to do and or represent music.
@321dwood, what U have to understand is they have to make room for the media, U cannot have a perfect line or march as though they are not there, les there will be a mess on the field, I dunno if you know anything about marching or the physical efforts it take to be in a marching band, D-1 Bands do not have as many routines as HBCU Bands...........A D-1 band will not stand up to a Marching band as FAMU or BCU......Look at the clip when Famu played UF in 2003 @ the swamp.

@trespin first off bcuz im young don't mean i don't know i don't now who doc foster is come oh you should let age bring you wisdom not ignorance. But even if it was foster was ther e band director in the early 80's or before, so its recycled thank you sir
