What is honor of having the gold medal if the world thinks of you as a cheater. I would be ashamed. I guess the Russian mindset is different! A true athlete wouldn't want to go down in history known as a cheater!
Russians are disgusting as far as I can see from the women's figure skating competition in Sochi. The crowds were rude against all non-russian skaters and the athletes doped for Sochi and Pyeongchang. They think it's ok to cheat as long as you can win
Simple Truth Very true. Russia has been a big fed in figure skating and made contributions to this sport, but they’re also involved in many scandals that go down in history of figure skating, especially Sochi women figure skating, which has somehow ruined my respect for Russian figure skating. So I will not be rooting for any Russian figure skater.
I’m sorry Ik I’m late but can someone explain what happened , I’m kind of new to the whole figure skating thing so if someone can explain that would be great ❤️
@@VoteForKermit-zi7rd Kim Yu Na should have easily won the Gold for her technical and flawless skating but the judges gave it to the Russian gal who made mistakes and scored higher than Kim's score! It's because the Olympics was held in Russia!
Yuna is still very much relevant in the skating world, even as someone who's been retired for almost 6 years. She still performs whenever All That Skate comes to Korea, and they pretty much make her the special guest more than anything. I don't see Socheatkova anywhere today. Makes sense, considering the girl can't even legitimately win herself a national title, much so a world or a real olympic title.
It’s clear Yuna with her shy personality doesn’t have many friends at this gala and can often be seen by herself especially being the only Korean skater and not having other teammates like other countries. Patrick Chan and late Denis Ten are such quality people making sure she wasn’t alone during the gala.
I guess after all, Gold is for the luckiest girl, Silver is for the girl who undergoes the most challange, and Bronze is for the girl with the most captivating story.
so many comments in japanese...and they are saying other skaters are bullying yuna kim? normal person doesn't think like that..because there are so many videos yuna get along with other skaters. perhaps because bullying often occurs in japan, japanese people think of bullying after watching this video. Im sorry for japanese..i want to say to japenese. Today's lesson : If somebody are bullying someone, there is nothing wrong with the bullied. It's the bully's fault.
The Japanese people who come to the Yu-na player's fancam video and talk about Kim Yu-na badly and deliberately praise the Japanese player and make sarcasm are really bad.
I'm Japanese. She said "I was disturbed by Japanese players on Four Continents Championship."Her remark was a little aggressive then.so Japanese is complaining.I cant speak English well 😢
Yuna Kim is respectable, talented much more another figure skaters, but why are u talking about appearance ? She has slanted eyes and it´s not beautiful, sorry. Beautiful figure skaters are Kaetlyn Osmond, Grace Gold..this level, ok? And dont say about appearance, cause in your country, plastic surgery is " hobby". Japanese ppl dont have BIG FACE as you. Even plastic surgery cant correct this.
