Yes Mexican sunflowers,so beautiful! My brother-in-law used to grow those & the biggest best tomatoes in me ark!! Well he grew onions,green beans,cucumbers,& don't know what all but he could grow anything well!! Another beautiful flower is Mexican petunia believe it's called. A deep velvet purple bloom & has sweet scent!!

You are so welcome Ms Helen. That mat is called a self healing mat. You lay your project on it and cut using the rotary blade. Doesnt hurt the mat but protects surfaces. Also those scissor looking things are for you to use to hold small pieces so you wont glue or burn yourself. Enjoy!
