As well as Hartford, Howard, Carroll, Cecil, Anne Arundel, Queen Anne's and Baltimore Counties that saw it on WJZ. I listened to the Ravens radio broadcast in Prince George's County and watched it on WUSA here in the DC area, when I saw the ball hit the crossbar, I was thinking it was going to bounce back into the end zone but it bounced over and when the officials said it was good, I immediately quoted the voice of the Ravens Gerry Sandusky "The Hay's In The Barn!" That kick basically put Justin Tucker into the Hall of Fame and IMHO, that record may stand for many years.
I’m a Bears fan and very disappointed in that pathetic loss. But to see a good team like the Ravens win the way they did is pretty cool. Congrats Ravens!
Look at the bar scene - everyone high diving and celebrating TOGETHER! this nation is not racist - don’t believe the lie! Be good to each other all the time!! #loveyourneighbor #ravensnation
That's the great thing about sports. For 3 hours once a week people can put aside their differences forget their problems and join together to root for their team
This was the second time the Lions lost on a last second record setting field goal. The other was Tom Dempsey's 63-yarder in 1970. Both games ended 19-17.
I live in a small town in Maryland where all the bars are clustered within a block. I kid you not, that in the street of this town, you could hear the collective cheer of 6 fully packed bars screaming their heads off in celebration, followed by the harmonizing to a silent Seven Nation Army from AN ENTIRE TOWN. I have heard nothing like that and I don’t think I will hear anything like that again. Truly once in a lifetime experience
lol everyones reaction the same... the original broadcast angle makes it look like it hits the crossbar and goes into the end zone short. But then the refs signal its good and let the freak out commence.
Well watch soccer ⚽ then. You'll be so starved for anything exciting to happen you'll go completely berserk when something exciting actually does happen.
