People in Kearney are just super helpful. I was in a band on the way to a gig in Colorado. We got a flat in a snowstorm in Iowa. The gas station we got towed to put our van on the lift to change the tire but the van was too long for the lift so the drive shaft got slightly bent when they lifted it. By the time we got to Kearney our transmission was literally rattling apart. Pieces pieces of it were just falling off onto the street. The garage in Kearny put us ahead of all the other cars they were working on to get our van fixed in time to make our gig in Colorado.

Is Mark Shimkets doing better since his cancer treatment started and is back on your tour, or is this older footage? Hope that it's the former, and that he's doing and feeling better.

I think this was an older show, the last instance I can find of Steve being in Kearney was April 2023.

I can't remember which comedian popularized the joke about the song lyrics "hey Mr Tambourine man, play a song for me" and then making whatever punchline about tambourines only being able to playing note. Of course, somebody has to point out every time that it was a drug reference, because they didn't understand that it was a joke.

Oh god, you're in Kearney, Nebraska aren't you? I'm so sorry. I grew up in Nebraska. I was only in Kearney once but aside from the college I recall there being nothing there. I doubt they even know what a latte is there.
