If you like Jimmy Carr, Bo Burnham, Bill Burr, or George Carlin, you have wonderful taste in comedy. But they're completely unrelated to this channel. (They are great comedians though).

I went to my local Wal-Mart a few days ago to discover that they had recently installed self-checkout scanners. As the lone cashier had a looong lineup, I opted to use those. A very-friendly associate rushed over to make sure that I could manage the task and we chatted a bit about local happenings (small town, what can I say). As I went to pay she said brightly, "And don't forget to give yourself 5 stars." I told her, "That wouldn't be for me, and I am not doing it for the store. I am exchanging money for products, I brought my own bags, and I scanned them myself while receiving no discount. That is not a 5-star transaction, it is the bare minimum. I am not giving any stars for a very basic transaction." If you ignore that review thingy long enough, it disappears. I hate that I am expected to review every damned transaction everywhere.
The funny thing about them naming 1950 is that there were, kinda famously, N@zi book burnings for trans healthcare books by Magnus Hirschfeld in the 1930s
It works the other way too. Like, people out here rating stuff 5 stars just 'cause they liked it. ...But man, I like a lot of stuff.I like zero perfect and unimprovable things. People've lost all sense of perspective. Star and number ratings are just a mess. Rating systems may as well be binary. -1 for bad, 1 for good. 0 means nobody's rated yet or it's the most evenly-divisive thing in the world and every rating neutralizes the one before it.
Not seeing this video until August 2024-but love it....What Steve says at the end it wonderful! He brought forth such a simple-yet profound & non-threatening example to those who don't realize, people who are born different just want to be able to go through life with dignity & the freedoms the rest of us take for granted!
I love how someone who presumably knows robert tried to reel him in and then everyone knew his name. Classic blunder, the Hofstetter already latched onto his prey, this heckler will not see another air canada flight.

I think these guys see your vids roasting hecklers and think it's something that helps you make content, so they do it too. That's my assumption at least.
Rape isn't a male trait. And paedophilia certainly is NOT a male trait. This is where the transphobia comes into play. He doesn't see those people on the same standing as his farther or brother or himself. Unless he was raped by his dad or his brother is a paedo, or he is.. 🤷♂
oh my goodness! the "you dropped your pocket" thing... i have not heard that in YEARS!! someone who i used to know from when i used to do karaoke, would always say this to people to confuse them (he would also tell people i cars that they were "leaking blinker fluid" so yes, definitely crazy. This guy took out a restraining order on me, which was very confusing because he was like 6ft3in 450lbs and i was like 5ft4in and maybe 180 at the time, see also disabled. He took it out because i turned him down for a date because a) i was not remotely interested and b) he talked non-stop about his unhealthy obsession with someone else. Obviously the judge laughed him TF out of the courthouse, but this all happened during finals at school and so yeah, any way, i have never written this long of a YT comment before but was having an absolute crap day and this post just randomly started playing asnd as soon as i heard "you dropped your pocket" i was glued. Thanks for helping me fee better, if in the weirdest way. lots of love from boston.
We go over any reviews we get in, and yeah the 1 star reviews are always the most strange. "It took too long to get my food." When we were literally finishing it as they arrived.
I too don't believe in gender-neutral bathrooms. Don't get me wrong, I know it is highly unlikely that some man is going to pretend to identify as a Woman to go into their bathroom to SA a little girl. But that fear still exists to a lot of Women. And calling these Men & Women "Transphobes" because of this fear is disgusting gaslighting. Now these Women say they have the right to feel safe in their own bathrooms, and Trans Women say they feel that they have the right to use the bathroom of the sex they identify as. So one way or another someone's rights are going to be infringed upon. Whose should we choose?
By the same logic 5 stars would mean that it couldn't possibly have been better. Assuming that the rating system doesn't allow for half-stars, one star only means that the experience was only in the bottom quintile of possible outcomes, not necessarily the worst ever.
The place i grew up in had a population of 244 people, we had one school, a k-8, and a few ranches/farms, and no churches, no gas station Good ol Concow

Back when I was an Uber driver, the star system was pointed out very clearly. 5 star: GREAT! WONDERFUL! AWESOME! IMPOSSIBLE FOR IT TO HAVE BEEN BETTER! 4 star: Fire the bum. 3 star: Fire the bum. 2 star: fire the bum. 1 star: Fire the bum.
