funniest moment in this is around 1:06:14 evans notification the look of surprise on his face followed by a non verbal swear followed by matt grabbing his earphones 🤣🤣 im in literal tears from that alone always good to hear a critical and honest review good job lads
Great discussion, I would just say that you guys were interrupting and talking over each other a lot and it was a bit distracting. Glad to see you guys back and keep up the good work!
Callan - Apologies for this, our connection speeds vary so it can make it difficult to get the timings right on when there's a gap sometimes. I think Matt was suffering from a delay in particular for this one.
Well, guess I'll be giving this a skip, but c'mon Evan, you can't go teasing us like that with that shout-out to Antoine. It's making me way too excited at the idea of all four of you doing a Fanalysis on Avatar (or anything else really) at one point
I think they're trying to show the journey to her final breakdown moment. Also, did they drop more episodes already? Cause I remember the whole season ending with the soot scene.
I'd be interested or curious rather to hear your thoughts on how badly Lucasfilm botched Thrawn in the Ahsoka series. Knowing you dudes it should be quite amusing especially with Jenseraii and Antoinne on the panel lmao.
The more I think about this show the lower my rating for it drops. I was at a 6 to 7ish a few days ago, then 5.5, and now I'm dipping below 5. The writers had butchered so many characters. I still have difficulty fathoming why the writers decided it was a good idea not to have Aang do any water bending during the entire season that's literally titled water... It's like the writers just wanted to rob everyone of their character arcs. Katara is now just a water bending girl boss rather than a motherly teacher that encourages and helps Aang learn water bending even though he makes her feel jealous with how good he is. There's no sense of her naivety and thinking that a good speech will be enough to motivate defeated prisoners of war to fight for their freedom. Sokka has nowhere his character arc can go now. All his flaws which were progressively removed throughout all three seasons are now either watered down or completely removed from the very beginning. Most of Zuko's bad deeds have been outsourced meaning he's less of a villain now so when he eventually is redeemed it'll be less impactful. Only thing this show really had going for it was the cool cgi.
