Forgot to say that the Podium Hub fit all wheel rims with a 6x70mm or 3x50mm bolt pattern. And the Fanatec Formula rim has the same diameter as the Motamec rim. Fanatec's counterpart to the Motamec is the Flat 1 rim, but double the price. I’m new to all this stuff and just setting up a basic cockpit for drifting lol will the podium hub be a good option I was planning on getting it with a cheap eBay drift wheel and the club sport v2.5 wheel base and club sport v3 pedals and the club sport shifter.

Yes that will be a great option! The universial hubs are good as well, and with those you get buttons on top off the hub even if you don't add button clusters, but they are a bit expensive if you don't plan on using buttons or paddle shifters with the rim.

@@RVRCloset okay I think I understand now, I’ve seen people run the universal hub with no paddles but still had the buttons on the hub and thought it was a different accessory all together. So I could still put a cheap deep dish wheel on the universal hub as well then ?

@@kanethomo2483 Yes both the universial and podium will work with any wheel that have 3x50mm or 6x70mm bolt pattern. You can put shifters on the podium as well, but do to that you can buy the Podium hub by itself that is the cheapest option, the Universial hub have both paddle shifters and buttons included in the box, but for 140 euros more than the Podium.

My dear friend, how are you? Hope all is good.. so recently I upgraded to csw base and am looking to buy a wheel rim. What is your thoughts regarding to buy a "cheap" wheel, having in mind the issues with the broken pins? *help* :l

Hey friend, nice!!👍 How do you like the csw? Yeah I know there were some issues with the McLaren rim using it with the csl connection, I think you should go for a rim with the csw quick release to be safer. I have never had an issue with my rims. Best way to get them a bit cheaper is to check auction sites like ebay etc.

Nice little explanation. I like the forza D shaped rim and as you know I have the same with the converted usb uni hub. Sadly I don't use it as much since I have the Turn racing with a uni hub for GT3/E. The Podium is pretty sweet. Good show my friend!!!

Hi! Now I plan to buy a size 33 instead of a 30 p1 wheel. Is the bigger wheel noticeably slower? I generally drive gt3 cars. Thanks

Bigger wheels tend to be slower and less responsive, between a 30 instead of 33 wheel won't be that much though. But it also depends on what wheel base you are using.
