@@BelamyPrime I actually saw that video which is what made me switch from shadehunter been an archer almost all my life. Except when the game launched, I played spellsinger then.

aiming it in groups is very shitty. Sometime it just wont go where you are facing and it just randomly locks on to someone you dont even want to hit..

I think as things stand now staff and dw are very very similar with the resulting dps. As a returning player I would go with a staff since its only 1 weapon you have to grind and gem w/ that same end result pretty much. If you scroll back through some of my mage videos from 5.0 you will see my using a staff and I still melt people no problem :) The mdef/crit damage debate is something I am constantly discussing with my friends and I think mdef build has the potential to be really really strong but I'm not willing to drop the pile of gold needed to reroll my gems just to test it :( In regards to the library set I think its really weak for dps mage imo. I can explain why if you actually want that rundown.

8m full mdef and amazing for pvp, can one burst cloth healers but the thing is in pve its my solid dmg and not pen

hiram is perfectly fine, the cold flames build is just slightly better dps and i had access to it since this account is pretty old :)

really depends on the situation but the best all-round class is probably spellsinger

i think aoe damage as a whole is getting a slight nerf but other aspect of the class is getting buffed

@@Rebii_7 yea its really good 1v1 once you get your combos down :) lots of big burst damage

i actually think 1h is better for bad ping - but I get away with using a 2h and I have 220+ ping

fanatic is strong for pve but if you really want to maximise your pve damage its nice to have songcraft in the mix for crit stacks and zeal.
