FANE ASCENSION F70 vs A60 - Giampaolo Noto 

I think these were made to be paired with. I would love to hear them together. I love the more vocal mids of the A60 but want to keep the punch of the F70. Both have beautiful mids. I’m sure the alnico is just a bit sweeter. I can’t make up my mind so I want both now haha.

Your tone is outstanding, I am about to put one of each F70+A60 in a 2x12 to run with my Hiwatt Custom 50

The A60 is a much warmer speaker, great for jazz or if you have a bright amp. For a regular Fender type amp I like the F70.

Nice comparison...for everything else,I use different Scumback models,but for my Ceriatone Hiwatt build the F70's sound the best... Hiwatt and Fane really ARE a great pairing!

Bella comparison. Entrambi belli a loro modo, di mio gusto preferisco l'A60, che come impressione suona un po' più aperto, l'altro in alcuni punti mi è sembrato un po' "nasale". Bravo Giampaolo!
