I really love these videos of the step by step builds. Wayne is such an easy going person who really loves what he does. KITT is not yet available in the US where a live, unfortunately, so I hope it becomes available really soon!!
I did stage 15 - 18 today too. I find with the wheels it's easier to screw the two halves of the wheel together first, then pop the tyre into hot water for five mins, dry it off, it then slips onto the wheel really easy.
All the black seems appropriate to me. KITT was the world's first consciously goth car after all. Knight in its name, all the black you can fit, a spooky red eye, and a very goth personality. I'll always wear black until they find something darker.
Ugh. I got the first little wiring terminal in with no problem. Then, I broke it off while trying to put on the second one. Now, I am stuck on stage 15, waiting on replacement parts, after being stuck on stage 13. This is frustrating. Haha, at this rate, I should finish this build somewhere around the year 2038
Wayne what's happened to your second brake disc? On the Mike Lane kit there's supposed to be a perforated disc cover that covers that black backing pad
I dont get it spending extra on the brake disk mods that u wont be able to see it thru the wheels. Fair enough its worth it if u can see the disks thru the wheel spokes as i do with my 1/24 model kits where the wheels have thin spokes that u can see the disks clearly.
You,ll find than ametal M2.5 washer that goes over the screw instead of their Black plastic washer is5times stronger for stopping the wheel wobble in itself
I'm still doubting whether or not to start this, I really dislike the subscription thing. The more I look at builds, the more I'm leaning towards "nope". There are things not right, like the bumper is a mix between seasons (fixed with mod), pictures show seatbelts, etc. But what worries me is the dents and scuffmarks some painted parts like the hood come with. How did your hood arrive?
Don't no if you have received this as my phone is playing up but I was wondering on last Thursday stream you said you may give any cars you have done twice away if so I would gladly take one to give to my son to showcase in his garage I would pay for all postage if required if they are going in a draw I will keep my fingers crossed loving the builds
