Thank you for the video. The set up is so silly from the manufacturer, however. I have two of their fans in adjacent bedrooms on the same breaker. I need to go into the switch box and disconnect the hot wire from one to program them differently.
For anyone curious there's also a small red button the "SET" button that you don't have to remove the battery to press that will reset your remote and it does not matter if your light is on because you need it to be on to reset it.
I’ve tried everything with this remote and nothing has worked. After several attempts to fix and RU-vid videos I was striking out. My wife picks up the remote, pushes the button and viola!…it started working.
@@kkorve26 yeah actually, just change the batteries lol I assumed that wasn’t the issue because you could see the sensor light turn on when buttons were pushed, and because it wasn’t working even when held on top of the receiver. Sure enough though, as soon as I put new batteries in it was good as new. If you played with the toggle switches next to the battery while troubleshooting and it’s not working after you replace the battery, just push them all to the one side and you should be good.
Depending on your model there also might be a tiny red button that says set above where the battery goes if you have that kind of remote it doesn't matter if you're lights on because it has to be on for you to reset it.
THANKS, GLORY BE TO GOD, I FIGURED IT OUT, SLIDE ALL THE PRONS IN THE BLACK SQUARE BOX ON THE REMOTE BESIDE BATTERY DOWN, WITH A STYLIST OR ANYTHING PLASTIC, NOT METAL. THIS WILL WORK FOR THE REMOTE WITHOUT THE RESET BUTTON
@@petersteiman2443 I tried that first, it started lighting up green when tried to turn the light on or adjust the fan speed, but nothing was actually happening with the fan.
