@@melvinlinderoth7108 For dolar currency, it is. But the dolar (us) to real (brazil) conversion is really high. $40 dolars means R$200 reais for me, which is A LOT. I will try it anyway, but it is not easy for people who doesn't live in countries with strong currency.

It's too expensive for me also, to have that amount of money in one go out prices a lot of fans. The shipping cost to the UK is ridiculously expensive making the overall cost insane. I will have to wait till he releases the physical books before I can afford to purchase them. Which feels a long wait and rather unfair to the general public who can't afford such a book haul extravagance....

You've got a month. Enough time to read a book or two on the side to check out his style! Personally I recommend Mistborn or Warbreaker.

do it!! Start with mistborn I would say, the first book stands on its own as well. Other starting points include elantris and warbreaker , although I wouldn't recommend starting with the latter, maybe it was just my taste but I didn't like it all that much. Elantris is good , but it's a bit cliche at points and also Sanderson's first published novel, so he obviously improves a lot later on. If you have less time on your hands you could start with the Emperors Soul actually!! It's quicker than reading the other 500 page tomes, it's only 170 pages or so , a novella, and is set on the same planet as elantris and is really good.

If you are looking to read his work, Warbreaker is free on his website. I recommend that and Mistborn: The final empire as introduction to his writing

My husband convinced me to give his books a try. We were on a road trip a couple of weeks ago, so we listened to the first book in his Skyward series. OH MY GOSH! It was so good! I'm already on the third book. Every evening I beg my husband to listen with me hahaha! I'm hooked and can't wait to start on his other books.

I want them too, but I'm in Europe... I will order something (the special print editions are tempting), but will take my time to think about how much money I can justify spending. There's still almost 4 weeks left, so there's really no need to rush.
