And I read that because they cast Hilarie as Lucille they were able to do the scenes they did between them because casting someone that Jeffrey wasn't in a quarantine bubble with would have changed things because of filming guidelines due to Covid. So we got a better episode because they cast her.

You know I always appreciate little things like that, when an actor who's married or going steady with someone actually brings their partner into the show with them rather than cast another random actor for the love interest. It really speaks to their commitment to the other person and helps their chemistry. Like the Chris Hemsworth interview about one of the Thor kisses "okay here are all of these actresses, which one would you like to kiss for the scene?" "Uh well....my wife is Right over there. Can we just use HER for this kiss?" 😊😜

If i remember correctly, its where everybody he meets dies until he meets Dwight and dsome gang then the gang wanted to like rape the girls they are with and you know Negan doesnt like that, thats where he went off and started like being the leader of the group and sets the rules.

I loved Negan from the start. I thought Ricks group deserved a couple deaths after they slaughtered 30+ of Negans men in their sleep when the Saviors had never done anything to them. I've hated Rick at times, but never Negan. Glenn and Abe deserved their deaths. Love both of them still though.

@@ivetriedhell I'm not forgetting that actually. Pretty sure Negan even mentioned how he didn't like the way that group of his approched Sasha, Daryl & Glenn. And they didn't know about Alexandria until Ricks group killed Negans in cold blood. It was in cold blood. Would I have done it too though? yes. Would I be mad at Negan for getting justice for the 40+ people they murdered, no. The group got off easy with him only intending to kill one of them. Daryls the reason Glenn died. That wasn't Negans plan or intent going in to it. Daryl forced him by attacking him.

The smile at the end............He's burnt Lucille meaning he knows it's time to move on and I think he now understands Maggies pain, I think he's ready to die and knows the only way he can "give back" so to speak it to have Maggie kill him - the smile is his way of trying to provoke her into doing that.....

It's because the saviors didn't have names. They know glenn so they think he's just the good guy. The saviors had friends and loved ones and names. Imagine if a group killed all of alexandria in their sleep, how hated that group would be. At least Negan didn't kill people in their sleep or executed people that had already surrendered. Or burned people alive because they roughed up his son. Or went on a vigilante's murder spree. Or stabbed people in the back that had saved his life like 10 seconds before Negan may have pulled some messed up shit but the others weren't much better. They just get a pass because "they did what they had to do."

I dont kno if anyone noticed in the episode but when negans wife was in the car and turned the radio on after u hear the announcement that the dead are eating people she turns to another station and u can hear the song theme from the original return of the living dead movie. All you people asking Lucille why she killed herself, or saying, "Lucille, why?! He would have came back!", you just don't get it. She didn't kill herself because she didn't think Negan was coming back. She took her own life because she wanted to go out on her own terms, and not die a lingering, agonizing death due to the cancer. I understand that completely. I'm fighting cancer myself. There were people that said things like, "Why did you do that? You had three treatments." . You don't understand what chemo is. Three treatments wouldn't accomplish anything. Chemo is something that you have to go through for an extended period of time. And you need to have MRIs and CT scans regularly so that you can see what the tumors are doing, so that the treatment can be adjusted accordingly. I've already told the family member that I am currently living with that if things start to go south for me there is a good chance that I will go out on my own terms, before the cancer can take me. They understand completely.

I am so sorry for what you have been through. One of my best friend died to cancer and I understand exactly how that felt. My friend had been battling cancer for years and when that moment came, he begged his mom to just... let him die because he couldn't do it anymore. 😢 I miss him till this day and that moment will forever haunt me.
