As someone who doesn't have a pre-order for either yet, thank you very much for the comparison with Badcubes offering! The difference in alt-mode is huge, and same with bot! Totally different figures.

much better than Badcube version. as for the color, toon robot was grey but the alt mode was purple.

thank you for the review, I preorderd the fanstoys version of the insepticons and now I don't know if I want the g1 toy legs or the anime legs, CHOICES!

On the one hand I can appreciate the work FT do but on the other I have no interest in articulated G1 toys. There are a few pieces I could be interested in but they're mostly the autobot cars and I imagine Takara will get around to all of those eventually. Top notch video!

You can't go wrong getting all the insecticons. Besides if people actually followed the 'real' story in the insecticons cloned themselves 24/ 7. They made the mass of Megatron army. A shame the dim wit animators missed that important detail for the movie.

Hey Ben nice early sample review man. This figure is super dope! Question; I have the grey chest (anime accurate chest) version pre ordered at early bird pricing and even know I really like the purple version now that there is pics, I think I'll stick with the early bird pricing at 74$ or whatever. Ok so *Do you know if the grey version is coming out @ the same time? OR will I have to wait like the toy versions of dinobots?* thanks boss

Benscollectables Thats what they say yea. I wasn't sure if you had inside info ;) REALLY excited for this. I cant believe 5 folks have "disliked" this video. Probably people who are jealous & paid upfront already for the badcube set lol thnx for replying.
