So inspiring. Imagine if he just gave up when the war started, especially when ingredients were almost impossible to acquire. He could have just told himself it was no use and what was the sense of stubbornly continuing to make soda in the midst of the war. In the end, he not only saved the operations of Coca Cola in Europe but also created another iconic drink.

It might just be the (cane) sugar but on occasion try a european Fanta, slightly different flavor (I think Canada's might be the same). And while your at it also try _Orangina_ from France (slightly less fizzy, more fruity). Take care.

When i watch those type of videos, i can't but doubt the narrated stories. Those stories are written by the people themselves, who portray themselves as heroes navigating around monsters. Im not much of an orange drink fan but i allways do choose Fanta over any other option if i happen to be in an orange kind of mood. Also the carbonation of Fanta is vastly superior to Crush, which just doesnt carry the same notalgia factor anymore despite starting on the Crush fountain drinks when i was a kid at Mcds or BK.

In my childhood in the Sixties I had loved FANTA. Always thought it to be American. So I really was disappinted not to find FANTA stateside. Figured it out later that it was originally created in Germany. So this article of yours is great stuff. Still there are many around not aware of this fact.

German director Billy Wilder made a film called One, Two, Three with James Cagney about Coca Cola and post war Germany. Excellent film. Unless you're a Pepsi man.
