Algatewood, same! That line that ran into the “Finally, I believe,” lines in which she was bending down, sort of kneeling. And, man alive if you could not tell how she sang that from her soul, that she believed, then you can’t see nor hear. That girl is a beast now. She is ALWAYS singing from the depth of her soul. Love me some Tasha. She is a resilient, lady of strength as shown by not giving up when thing 👑❤🤗
I got kicked out and could not get back in to edit. **She didn’t give up when she experienced times and tribulations and has come though stronger. Sis has my respect. Do that sis. Do THAT Queen. Keep moving because we got you. Keep moving forward.****Part 2 responding to Algatewood.
was the first AI winner from the South - She's from High Point, NC until Ms. Candice Glover won representing South Carolina - the sole winner from the state!
This was my first season watching AI and I can compare her to a freight train that you just couldn’t stop. She had the whole package. Incredible voice, was very humble and likable. There was literally no stopping her from winning this show because she was such a force to be reckoned with. Probably one of the most deserving winners because she came literally from nothing and worked hard to win.
When Diana DeGarmo sung this song she hit every note and it was almost flawless technically, but Fantasia gave the song heart and soul. You could feel every note and every word she sang. She made us all feel what she was feeling. That's what's so special about Fantasia. You can't teach anyone something like that. Either you have it or you don't.
It’s now 2022 and watching her performance still gives me the same chills it gave me back then! I cried like a baby! And I’m crying now. I voted for her and she didn’t let us down one bit!
Nowadays, you have to watch a young boy can replace her with his beautiful voices which his name Darren Espanto and search it on Darren Espanto - I believe.
Agree and this performance moved me so much, that I can't help but to constantly revisit it. I think this song was meant for her to sing...passionately done and no one else could have done it more justice.
Tathianna I agree I cry every time. I woke up thinking about it today. I replay it more lol how she broke her shoe. Her whole reaction. Its hard to sing in that moment. So I don't expect them to sound like they normally do. Love her voice speaking and singing voice
@@maxfrax333No, this song was hers and hers only. LaToya or Jennifer would’ve done a good job, but THIS was Fantasia’s song. Girl lived these lyrics, which made this moment even more beautiful.
That's what growing up with gospel music does. It lifts moments like these even higher. One of the most emotional performances on a singing competition ever.
In the year 2024, I am here bawling at 1 in the am like she just won! One of the best performances on live television. So beyond happy to see how this amazing young woman has blossomed even more into who she is today.
I've never saw a moment like this in my life and I'm 48 years old where a person truly appreciate and truly deserve to win she is truly a blessing to us
Watching this now...2018, and IMO 1. This was the best final song EVERRRRRR 2. The best season 3. Fantasia really really deserved the title 4. She nailed the song 5. This song was like made for her
This song was hers from the moment she sang the first note. Diana was great, but there was no stopping Fantasia and her ability to connect with the song.
It’s almost 2020 and I remember watching this live when she won and I cried tears of joy for her and here I am watching it today and it still brings tears to my eyes! Gosh I am so proud of Fantasia !
What Fantasia went through growing up and before she auditioned for idol was heartbreaking and she totally deserved this. This is truly a miracle story
I remember this moment. Our entire family was glued to the tv and we all had chills running through our body. This is so nostalgic and part of why we are so connected to her today! She deserved this win!
I remember watching this, and she was talking about how her heel broke. 😂😂 Fantasia got that thing about her! Forever a fighter, I hope God sustains her.
She bowed down... took a knee and gave God Glory. She was saying....Finally Lord I BELIEVE! She PUBLICLY gave Him thanks in front of millions of people and most had no idea what she was doing. But God knew and He said ... "Yes my child its been a long journey, you've endured and this is your moment." This song was more than just a song it was a thank you prayer to God from her heart. I wish she would just go on make gospel albums.
yes my girl. from the beginning..she got it n she took it cause she showed all wht she's abt.sung with conviction love n joy...emotions shine thru so raises everyone's spirit. say true Fantasia so many believe you. lots sing to impress when sing from the heart..it is enuf!! a big difference.the best...
This was the best moment in all of American Idol history! Never forget how we all felt watching this. I never cared so much for a contestant like I did Fantasia
This is possibly the best final moment of any finale ever! The way she makes you feel the song, the joy of the winning, the lyrics and how they suited her.... truly special. 💫
Ikr I don't think it was so much the money but the fact she went from a young single mom basically living in poverty to a future of opportunities for her daughter.
No other American idol performance can EVER COMPARE to this one! This young woman sang from her whole soul It’s the getting on her knees and singing finally I believe part for me ! Still listening 2021
She tore that song up! She put her heart, soul, foot, body in that song. She gave that song life. That song sends chills through my body! Thank you, Fantasia for making that song inspirational.
Hey, this is my check-in for year 2022, and Im still watching this. Every time she kneels on one knee & sings that line with a slight cry, my tears flow harder. She has wonderful stage presence. The way everyone felt like it was our win! Even Simon stood there like a proud dad. Fantasia is just amazing!!
Man this clip gets me every time I literally cry like I'm at a funeral when I see this because u see her dedication and how genuine she was, sometimes I just watch this to cry or get some inspiration that anybody can do whatever they put they're mind to 😊😊😊😊love you fantasia aka fanny.
American Idols best Idol winner..She was and is everything that symbolizes believing in a dream and never ever giving up. I watched this season and cried like a baby when she won
