この曲は、パガニーニの「ヴァイオリン協奏曲 第2番 第3楽章 ロンド《ラ・カンパネラ》」からインスピレーションを受けて、斎藤 葉が書いた独奏ハープのための作品です。『カンパネラ』はイタリア語で「鐘」を意味します。編曲にあたっては、その「鐘」の印象や、ヴァイオリンで奏でられる美しいアルペジオをとり入れて、ハープ奏法に適した音型を追求しました。リストの編曲したピアノ作品の《ラ・カンパネラ》にはない美しく夢のようにエレガントなセクションや、推進力のあるアグレッシブなセクションなど、ハープによる様々な表現の可能性をもたらしました。楽譜は、全音音楽出版社より出版されています。

This piece draws inspiration from the third movement of Paganini's Violin Concerto No. 2, the rondo called "La Campanella" and was written by Yo Saito for solo performance on the harp.
The word "campanella" means "bell" in Italian. In this arrangement, I have incorporated the effect of the bell and the beautiful arpeggio played by the violin, seeking a sound suitable for playing the harp. Though not found in Liszt's arrangement of "La Campanella" for piano, this arrangement has an elegant section like a beautiful dream as well as an aggressive pulsate section, providing for various possibilities of expression with the harp.
