Well she is human, she can turn into Nagini. A Maledictus will eventually fully transform into the animal, but she's not quite there yet. A snake eating a croissant would be pretty funny though.

honestly though, like they said the movie's ending wouldn't be as final and abrupt if they added that scene. I kinda like it more the way it is.

Ballroom scene is not there, a few shots from trailers are not there (happens with every film) but it didnt feel that way to me. Wish it was longer, it's so good

Ballroom scene with Leta and the rooftop scene with Nagini and Credence could have made us more invested in their characters and add emotion to their scenes. Instead, it feels like the relationship between Nagini and Credence came out of nowhere and Leta's fate is not as sad as it could've been, or at least I think so

Joaquin Perez I disagree but it’s hard to say without being in the cutting room. Usually scenes go for a reason whether because of audience feedback during test screenings or because of pacing. You can find standalone deleted scenes to be good, thinking “i wish it was in the film”, but you just don’t know if it would have fit anywhere while cutting it.

Yeah, and with people complaining that it was too stuffed and everything was happening too fast, I think they should have kept many of those scenes and let the movie run past 3 hours

Honestly, it makes me so much more excited for the deleted scenes portion of the disc!

Mistress Vanity yeah and J.K. Rowling said this series would take place over 19 years, ending in 1945. This is both the year that Dumbledore defeats Grindelwald and the year that Tom Riddle finishes at Hogwarts so hopefully we see him at some point!

Maybe we'll see how he meets Nagini? (My other theory is that HIS Nagini is named after THIS Nagini, rather than actually being her.)

keisha 21 Okay here's what I think that was: A couple months ago JK Rowling tweeted that Newt Scamander was having a book launch party for Fantastic Beasts at Flourish and Botts in London and was sending invitations. This is where we were originally supposed to meet Leta. Also, there seem to be a lot of deleted Yusef Kama scenes, Dumbledore in London scenes as well. This movie was really long and still ridiculously complicated. JK Rowling should stick to novels and work with someone to make proper adaptions because she truly dropped the ball on this movie- making it just a setup for the next film.

Right, i wouldn't bother with the movie being twice as long

​@@jime3281 The problem is that JK rowling kinda treated this movie as one of her novels. She threw a novel worth of imagination into this film, but she only had 2 hours - instead of multiple hours - to fit in all of her ideas, so they cut lots of scenes so they only kept the ''main frame'' which lead to many character archs being confusing. Hopefully they will take the critiques to heart and take off a few layers of unnecessary complexity in the next film, because eventhough it was messy, I still loved watching every second of it.

Nah I'm glad they arent rushing the romance subplot with Tina and Newt. It's obvious he's not good with people like he is creatures, so it makes sense that he's going to have a lot of back and forth and fail moments before he even gets there.

Law talks about her at 7:25 as if her scenes were cut from the movie... I wish they had indeed cut her off, for continuity.

She's been adding so many details in retrospect that she's also been having a hard time keeping track.

@@erickluviano981 I wish that were the case. Otherwise it wrecks the HP continuity. On top of that she can't be working at Hogwarts in the present given Dumbledore is the transfiguration professor and Dippet hasn't died yet.

i wanna know why Nagini turned evil, seeing as she didn't believe in dark wizards in this movie

I would love to see that too! In terms of her turning evil though I assumed it was somehow without any consent and he turns her evil himself? Especially since Nagini is stuck in her form and becomes a Horcrux. It makes no sense for her to go from how she is now to siding with Voldemort and killing people. I guess we will find out, hopefully.

Nobody knows the date of birth of Moody, in the book is older than the movie.

Yes Minerva was born in 1935. But her mother was called Isobel Ross before she married the Muggle Robert McGonagall after she turned 18. Minerva is the name of Isobel's grandmother. So that's not possible either. I'm not happy that this reveal is against canon, but I am curious if or where they are going with this.

Let's not try to make any logic there. Her appearance was pure fan service that had actually backfired... For some reason Law says that she was left out of the movie at 7:23, than he corrects himself...
