Just ran some cherry through the planer this morning. The aroma was fantastic.

Glad that wombat didn't cause any problems. Great log. I just received 3 beautiful black cherry for a customer. Hope it looks as good as yours.

Good video Dave! It is worse when the wombat gets stuck to the underside of the log above the bunk and it takes a few lifts of the log to find him. 😁 PS..I saw on Facebook that a certain professional homeowner is selling his mill and getting a LT40 Wide.

1. I thought that I was the only one with wombat issues. Good to know I'm not alone. 2. I think that professional homeowners are a very smart group and will really enjoy their mill in................late 2025.

In the background to the left of the motor home, is that a pile of saw logs? Those were some nice looking cherry boards!

Thanks George. The logs you see are just a small amount of the saw logs Matt has. Matt has this ability to get the BEST saw logs and, sometimes, he let's me mill them.

Good job Mr.Dave I’ve forgot about outriggers on a couple milling jobs and didn’t notice them until I looked back at the videos.

Great machine! How would you compare it to others in teh same class? What are the top three things about it and 3 things you;d change if you could? Awesome! Thanks,

Here is an incomplete comparison of 3 mills; WM LT40 WIDE $37,990 26.5 HP, 3,700# mill weight 36"/21' log Hydraulic log handling/ electric saw head control Sawhead must be at hitch end for hyd. to work Electric blade guide control Simple Set computerized setworks Walk-behind control station Cantilever design carriage COOKS HD3238 $39,950 38 HP, mill weight not known, but heavy 32"/21' log ALL hydraulic control (LOTS of hoses) Hydraulic blade guide control NO COMPUTERIZED SETWORKS (optional) Remote control station (no walking) Steel bandwheels (Cooks sells a blade straightener to remove the cupping caused by the steel wheels) 4 post carriage design...........very stable blade TIMBERKING 1620 $40,195 29 HP, 4,100# mill weight 39"/ 20' log ALL hydraulic controls (LOTS of hoses) Computerized setworks Manual blade guide control Remote control station (no walking) 4 post carriage design...........very stable blade Hard to pick three things I like since I like everything. Three things I would change; 1. More HP 2. Remote control station 3. I have NEVER had a problem with the cantilever design but a 4 post design would be more stable Hope this helps. Dave

I don't have to worry about wombats. Maybe the occasional groundhog. Lol
