@@CelestialDraconis Ah, didn't notice the description, mea culpa. Regardless, I'd suggest switching the band and album names, solely for the ease of access, since it's much comfortable searching for a game's or a movie's tunes via those, yet I'm quite certain nobody searches for a band's music by album, unless they're very familiar with either one or forced to do so because of lack of information. Although Your way certainly feels more consistent.
I also wanted to open a medieval tavern when I was older, I'm 52 now :( But there is still hope when I retire maybe? Wish you all the luck hope you can make it happen!
All travelers who have gathered here tonight, tell us your tales from far across. The drink is on me tonight. Bard, set up the environment, this night has just begun. The one with the finest story gets finest weapon. Sounds about right doesn't it?
as a scholar with none but the taste of adventure i yearn to be a bard yet my fathers dreams weigh down my stride i seek words of wisdom fellow travelers
Haha, been just listening to this compilation during work and at 1:09:00 I was like "hold on... what is it, this sounds pretty familiar" haha 😅 Thanks for including my cover!
You have no idea how important these compilations are to me deep down. My skin may be yellow, but my heart yearns of the gentle caress of these magical melodies.
@Cave Troll Mead was for the quite rich actually as it was made from Honey which was expensive. Was most commonly made by monks. It is also f**king VILE!!!! I also dont like wine but I would drink a pint of wine before a glass of Mead.
@@mjdia2543 Outside of Castles and such Im not sure. I know Aldi had it a couple of years ago here in Ireland so I assume some brewery is making it but I wouldn't know which one. Might have to go down the google path for that one mate
Dear random person who reads this right now. I've been there, we all been there some time in our lives, some moments are better than others with other words. Give yourself time to repair yourself, i want you to get better. Right now i can't imagine what you're going through but i bet it's a tough time you got right now. Well, being kind towards another has nothing to do with worthiness, but rather necessity, because we all need love and affection, some need it more than others and everyone shows it differently. I want you to feel loved even in the darkest times. I want you to experience happiness. That also does not need to be earned. I'm sorry that i can't help you or even try better than this. But i will always want you to be happy. Stay strong person out there! Remember that there is always light in the end of the dark tunel. Stay safe, healthy & awesome You're not alone! And NEVER GIVE UP
See, the reason I’d love to live in a medieval fantasy world is because of the fact that you could go wherever you want, see new magical and mysterious lands everyday, take a stroll through a bazaar that sells everything from swords to potions. There are new challenges and wondrous environments to overcome. You could see people of all species and races, each with a very unique story to tell. Who wouldn’t want to sit in a tavern and hear hours of stories filled with magic and danger? I would love to live in a medieval fantasyland, if you couldn’t tell.
At least until some demon captures you and tortures you for a few thousand years before turning your skin into a coat, then your soul goes to the Graveyard and is scoured for use in the next body (assuming it's a Pathfinder/D&D style fantasy universe).
I tried studying while listening to some lofi relaxing music/beats, piano musics, etc. but I can only concentrate the best when I'm listening to these kind of music..Thank you so much ^^
I'm a teacher doing a million grades and data collecting for the admins and I fall asleep. This music has allowed me to stay awake! I am grading art it should not be so boring LOL
So so glad a vol 2 had been released! Loved the first one so much and the second one didn't disappoint! So much time spent gaming, doing homework, and just relaxing to this music!
I simply want you to know that you are a wonderful person if you are reading this. We all get stressed out at times, and I hope you remember that there are people who care about you. Take precautions and be safe.
"We drink to our youths, for the days come and gone. For the age of oppression is just about done~" Ah memories.. when you would pay a bard and he would call you either a Stormcloak or Imperial for your taste in music...
Reading the comment section while listening to these music really sparks HUNDREDS of stories. I'm currently writing a book at Wattpad for fun. It's on-going and I'm so PUMP UP!! Thank you Celestial Draconis and to all the people in the comments!! You have made my big tummy tinier like a warrior!! 😂😁
Who ever likes these kind of song, my fellow adventurers we've got each other's back and that we travel across this ancient world together and share the advantures, and for a song we sought, was we who were sincerely distraught we fight together till the end fellow travelers and advantures.
What is a Runaway little runt like me..wandering around in a place like this, I haven't eaten for almost days but it is much better than suffering inside of that horrid of a household they call it..alas I might may meet fine friends inside of this peaceful tavern, Everyone seems to be enjoying this Beautiful evening..what could my fate lead me today, I wonder..? I sat alone in a table as the music soon started and it intertwined with the beating of my heart...
Let the music carry your soul into an enchanted places of the old, where magic and tales of heroic once were ,let this energy lead you to find your own magic and powers that you always had for within each of us there is greatness that just waiting to be awakened .
nobody: me trying to fall asleep to this so I can meet again the wizard I saw in my dreams while falling asleep to the last compilation so he can finish telling me how I must save the kingdom Update: After some attempts I finally fell asleep to this. In my dreams, I saw the wizard again, but he was different, the person who I saw as calm and wise was agitated and looked terrified. I ran to meet him. As he started to speak, his voice trembled. He said: "My dear, the time to fight has come. The small amount of rebel giants we fought last time, now is a huge army. There are humans, haflings and even elves, all united, and they want to destroy our kingdom. They're starting to attack from to south, destroying the great forest of the firbolgs. They burn the trees and the ground, the firbolgs had to go away otherwise they would burn too. These people call themselves 'the rebelion', they're intention is destroy the kingdom and steal our knowledge and weapons and force our knights to fight for them, so they will be able to take down the other kingdoms and govern all the lands of Dragma. You must help us, you're our last hope" That looks pretty nice may use in my next campaign lol
If there was any doubt of me being a big nerd; I'm sitting here playing WoW, listening to this music and I couldn't be happier! Thank you for making this video!:)
And why is that a nerd! Everyone should just be able to do what they want and feel good!! That is why I want to invite you. In this comment section I met a guy who created a discord server for fantasy lovers of all kind. We try to create a place were everyone is welcome and we can talk about Book, Movies, Art, games, etc... but also a place were everyone can rest and feel home. We would love if you join us. If you want to you can just message me so we can connect on discord. If you are not I thank you for your time and hope you have a great day!
Dear travelers! Let this music calm your mind and soul so that you can continue your fight! May the Gods come with us. And no matter how difficult your path may be, know that the spirits of our ancestors and lost brothers are always with us.let's raise our glasses to them
“Barkeep! another round of meed!” The barkeep set down the golden mead, her hair glowing gold as the light of the setting sun ran through it. If only you could stay for longer... but alas, you needed to get to the Southern Palace by the next full moon (three days time), maybe at the ball you could finally be free of politics and enjoy yourself. - *the night before the ball* - You were dazzling, your brown hair in neat curls, brushing over your pointed ears when you turned your head. You walked over to the mirror, silently thanking the gods that you could never age, thanking them for those speckled white eagle wings, the eyes the color of a stormy summer noon, the brown hair that you loved so dearly. Sometimes you wish you could escape this torturous life, run off to the forests where the magical Fae lived, or swim to the rivers with the green-haired nymphs. You laid down on the bed, covering yourself in warm magic before closing your eyes and falling into the kind embrace of sleep. “Wake up! Your going to be late!” You sat up and rubbed your eyes, blinking furiously as you tried to get the sleep out of your eyes. “What were you doing? You have black circles under your eyes!” “Reading again was it? Hmph, reading is useless.” You decided you didn’t get enough sleep, and like a sensible person, laid back down on the bed and fell instantly back to sleep. “Wake up! Your going to be late for the ball!” You sat up and rubbed your eyes, blinking furiously as you tried to get the sleep out of your eyes. “What were you doing? You have black circles under your eyes!” You knew that the servant already knew, so you stayed silent and just looked at the floor. “Dreaming again was it? Hmph dreaming is useless, won’t get you anywhere in life.”You decided you didn’t get enough sleep, and like a sensible person, laid back down on the bed and fell instantly back to sleep. “Wake up! Your going to be late!” You sat up and rubbed your eyes, blinking furiously as you tried to get the sleep out of your eyes. “What were you doing? You have black circles under your eyes!” “Reading again was it? Hmph, reading is useless.” (I tried to be as gender neutral as possible, but it’s really hard)
I’m going to write a fantasy book while listening to this and you have my thanks! This is a wonderful playlist and I’ve Listened to it at least 60 times by now❤
If your book earns you millions of dollars, then you should open your own medieval party tavern!!!!! That way, you can Iive your greatest medieval fantasy in the modern era!😁👍
When I was young I played DnD a lot and this music would have been great to hear in the background. It also brings back wonderful memories of going to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. Thank you for sharing!
I went to the best Ren Faire years ago while working in Allentown, PA. Not sure what town it was in but in that area. It was a permanent setup, done up so well! I miss going to those as my escape from this world. 😄✨
@@zackv4850 Well... We're halfway through the campaign, the party have found the secret place where the cultists hide, under the King's castle, their leader is the King's counselor but she's somehow brainwashed and doesn't even know what she's doing. Meanwhile, they have also met: A mad tiefling necromancer (The first interaction with the BBEG of the campaign) and the guard's captain, an asshole, the worst asshole. Long story short, because of this asshole, now the party is forced to fight against an adult black dragon. What do you think? 😅 PS: If my english is bad, i'm sorry ✌️
@@andreamendikovic9102 make sure to allow an escape rout in fights that aren't the bbeg. no one wants a party wipe on an unimportant fight. necromancers are scary. competent necromancers are scarier. consider giving the undead a bonus from undead thralls. wizard necromancer subclass. level 6. your doing well. hope your having fun.
Ah, yes, Greensleeves - the traditional English folk song, written by a notorious Renaissance king for the woman he was attempting to woo, who he later had executed. The perfect song to play in a medieval fantasy tavern. It was Henry the 8th. He wrote Greensleeves around the time when he was pursuing Anne Boleyn, so it's speculated that she is the woman the song is praising. Additionally, the 'green sleeves' refers to a type of detachable sleeve common during the late Middle Ages and well into the Renaissance. People, even wealthy ones, didn't have as many clothes and this was an easy way to spice up their wardrobe. Apparently, the woman in the song liked to wear a particular pair of sleeves with her outfits, hence the pseudonym.
Actually the authorship by Henry is nothing but a legend. The form of the composition spreads in England after his death, so it is written later than he could do it. And even if he did it, there is no reason why it could not be a song for a medieval FANTASY tavern. The format of classical fantasy perfectly allows mixing elements from antiquity up to stimpunk, and the Renaissance is the playground of the Witcher and the First Law cycle by Abercromby. Hence, chronologically it is ok. What about the subject, then what prevents a fantasy tavern to have a song about a girl whom the author would like to do played? Feminist and religious position of the drunken mercenaries who party there or what?)
Our hero, our hero, claims a warrior's heart I tell you, I tell you, the dragonborn comes With a voice wielding power of the ancient nord arts Believe, believe, the dragonborn comes It's an end to the evil of all Skyrim's foes Beware, beware, the dragonborn comes For the darkness has passed, and the legend yet grows You'll know, you'll know, the dragonborn's come

I discovered this by accident. But I want to share this with you so that in a way you can experience medieval ambience together with this music and the like. Buy or use any lamp with a bulb on it. Change it to soft light (I don't know the exact term, but the color is like between yellow and white.) around 3 watts only. Turn off the lights in your room then turn your lamp on. There you go. Medieval nights. I study and read books. Together with this ambience and music. Makes me feel like mage, a sage, a scholar and the like. I hope this would help your longing for that adventure in a way. A beer, in a wooden mug will also do.
I imagined myself as a mischievous, carefree peasant wearing wench costume, meddling and listening to other drinker's business and start singing on the table.
Ive listened to this playlist throughout my entire bachelor's studies. It makes studying so much easier and more picturesque 😌 thanks for helping sit my butt down and get stuff done!
I wish I would open a tavern some day, this would be an absolute dream, since there is no place like that where I live and lots of people are geek/gamer and love the medieval era... Maybe in 10y from now, who knows

I want to provide honest feedback. The first compilation of music is absolutely fantastic for a lyric free study time with slower calming music. While this compilation is not bad within the first 30m almost all of the songs have lyrics and are more upbeat music causing distractions. I am not saying I do not like it, more of it is not very good study music.
Elf : *drinks first barrel of ale* I think i'm starting to feel something Dwarf: what did I say lad's he can't hold his liquor *falls back cross eyed *
This is beautiful, I can't even describe the happiness I get from listening to such music❤️❤️❤️❤️ I wish there was a medieval themed cafe or an event even, one where everyone gets to wear costumes or just go and enjoy such vibes
actually, there is: it's been seven years that I go to a medieval event with everyone wearing costumes, pretending to live in that area. it is a massive land in France with vast open areas and forests. It takes place nearly every time in June and it's just simply amazing !
One might be in quarantine in these days but with this your mind can travel anyway - through exciting fantasy worlds Like the first one very well done **bow** :)
