Picked up our custom built camper the other day and wanted to do a brief walk around video before any additions were made to it. Leave your questions in the comments and I will be glad to answer them. Also please consider subscribing to the channel.

Edit: There is a hitch on the back of the trailer for bike racks or baskets that I forgot to point out. Newb mistake!

Thanks for the sub! Definitely going to be increasing uploads as the weather gets better. My advice to you: Get one ASAP so you can start making your memories. I truly regret not doing this 10 years ago when my kids were 6 and 3. Doesn't matter what kind of camper you get, new or used, fully loaded or just a shell. Heck, start with a tent and some chairs. Just do it as soon as you are able to.

Looks like a great tear drop,my only initial problem jus lookin would be placement of the 110 outlet being opposite the platform, seems to be should be in middle or other side,nonetheless great job!

Good point. Honestly I didn't know enough to think about that at the time but it hasn't caused any issues so far. If I would have thought it absolutely necessary at the time I could have discussed with Jeff at Fantom Teardrop about changing the location of it and he would het it done one way or another. Yes I did. It is located in Dalton, GA, about a 3 hour trip one way.

Hello. Thanks for watching. It’s holding up great! No issues, rust, leaks, electrical, etc. Give them a call and set up a time for you to tour their operation. That’s what I did before I made my decision. They would be happy to have you come by.

What type of axle is on the trailer? Suspension?

I suggest you to buy a stabilizing camera holder. It makes me dizzy and puke to watch the camera not being stabilized. Great video to show the teardrop trailer.

I will advise my 13 year old camera man he needs to save up his allowance for that! Seriously, thanks for watching and for the feedback. All of that kind of gear is on the list. Doing the best we can with what we have for now. Got a trailer to pay for first.

@@southeastadventures7897 I am not sure what camera you use but if it is a cell or camera, Amazon sells the camera stabilizer. It is like a handle with a “J” frame to hold your cell or camera 📸 to stabilize whatever you move. When your wife records it and walks at the same time, it is like filming during the earthquake. It is worth investing to buy a stabilizer. It is like $200 or less.

That’s not OSB. It’s Waterproof AdvanTech flooring.

As equipped around $14,000. I got just about every option they offered except for the TV package and A/C Unit.

Well that is good and bad. Bad that you have to wait that long. Good in that it lets you know that they have a lot of orders coming in which means the quality and pricing of their campers is good. Besides, that lead time is less than that of a couple of other "major" teardrop manufacturers in the U.S.
