Good video. I'm glad I found it. Can you explain why one would do this? Maybe an example or your particular circumstance? I ask because I'm getting my very first VMC and it has a Fanuc 0i-MD controller. I'm trying to learn all I can about the controller before I actually cash out for the machine next week. I'm guessing here but it seems like you are connecting some functionality or action to a button on the controller panel. Is that correct? Thanks!
Also, your control system is neutral to whatever you are running, so whomever built your system your controls up to that system. It isn’t correlated to all of your machines, it was programmed into your machine system
Good question. What mill do you have and what year is it? If it is a recent Doosan 2019 - present, the password has been 1976 for a while. You can check with your dealer - if they're cool about it, they'll tell you the password. Otherwise check forums for guys who have a bit of software the crack passwords if you send them your .LAD file. That's what I did. The forum had some dude's email in Bangladesh or something, I emailed him and a week or so later, he emailed me the "1976" password. I'm not sure how he did it, but it worked.
Yep. Whoever designed the UI on this thing should be beaten. It's convoluted and hard to navigate. The good news is that the newer control, iHMI, is better. The machine makes parts well though!
@@ericwhittaker3570 Hi, Do You know how to turn on small "Function Key" window on Actual Position main window? Function Key includes POS PROG OFST CSTM SYS MSG GRAH.
I found out today that hitting the page up or down in any of the areas you get stuck in can often help get to a page you can use to navigate back to where you started- it is frustrating!!
Your “edits” are calling for ‘input/output’ dictated by (y)or (x). Drives are inputs? If I remember and outside sources are outputs(like way lube lines) I’m not familiar enough with code to say what does what on your equipment
@@fredrezfield1629 I think it's the offset key (press it a few times to get to the right screen, then turn on either MDI or push in the ESTOP, then press 1, then press Input (maybe enter?).
