I am so astounded by this performance, every time I see it. Like, even though I know she could do crazy runs, she really took it to a new level in this song.
For Puppet,I would recommend listening to the demo version of the song as it showcases her vocals a little more. The original is an upbeat, catchy song, but the demo one is more serious.
"When I shoot I score" - when I hear her singing this I can't help but think about Michael Jordan...and how she's becoming the Michael Jordan of music for me. She's just flexing in this video the whole time and I love it.
Don't worry, she's a great one to be smitten with. There's a whole ep that she put out with 8 songs, all are lyric videos, but still an absolutely awesome listen... keep going!! This song seems a bit old school. But I love it. Maybe that’s why I love it. She’s beautiful but she’s an even better singer. She’s a beautiful singer but I think she’s an even better songwriter. Or will be, over the long haul.
That’s part of the reason why I don’t get people who complain that she’s not famous yet. She’s still so young she could easily be starting today on her career. Just getting a record deal and everything. She is progressing along steadily, making more fans, improving with her music every day. by the time she is really ready to make a big entrance into the main stream, she’ll already have it huge army behind her. She is on an enviable path for her age. There’s also the fact that she’s already so successful just the way she is, she doesn’t have to have that Taylor Swift level of fame to me. Just keep making music that you love as long as there is an audience listening to it. To me, that’s the point of music. Making music from the heart and enjoy it, and whoever connect to it, I appreciate them.
@@Rosannasfriend That’s us looking at it from normal land. But I’m sure there is huge pressure from some parties for her to be an enormous success as soon as possible. I got that impression from her discussion on “Really Mental” but also that she’s trying to put reasonable expectations on herself. I hope she continues to make music. And stay true to herself. That’s what’s going to speak to her audiences. And is the foundation for a very long career. 🌹
