Thank you so much for reacting to one of the great young artists of today ! Faouzia pronounced ( Foh - zee- ah ) is a Canadian Moroccan singer songwriter ! She is now 22 years old ! One of the most underrated and quite unknown singers in my country of Canada ! She is now gaining great prominence especially in Social Media ( Tik Tok and You Tube ) She has just completed her first European tour and is setting up for her first North American this month ! She also speaks three languages , classically trained in piano and violin plus plays guitar ! She is currently finishing up her engineering degree at university ! She is the real deal for sure ! She writes almost all her own songs and wrote this one too!! Her strong Arabic influence makes her voice quite unique ! She can sing seamlessly through her ranges and can belt or sing so softly it's beautiful to hear ! I would suggest any of her stripped down versions of her songs ! ( Tears of Gold, You Don't Even Know Me , Bad Dreams , Born Without A Heart and Elon ) as they are magnificently written and performed original songs ! Her music videos are absolutely fantastic and are visually and musically outstanding ! But the stripped down versions really bring out her true vocal talent ! Over this years I think this has remained my favorite overall piece of art by Faouzia...I mean on the surface the lyrics and vocals are amazing...and then there's the emotion she conveys that hits so hard...and finally once you listen to it a lot, you start to really appreciate her intentional additions that are so well-done in this song: a cry, a gasp, a growl, all added to the vocals in a way that deepens the emotion and seems so real. Anyways, if you liked this, her most similar work would be "Stripped" versions of "Born Without a Heart", "You Don't Even Know Me", "Bad Dreams", and "Tears of Gold". For something live, I'd start with "Elon", which can only be found after the credits of her full "Stripped" concert.

this song gets me feeling sum cuz its so relatable lol, i don't trust anyone i meet and cut friends off early bc i know it'll end anyway and don't wanna be the one to be hurt. Sometimes i self sabotage when i feel like its going down hill and cause the friendship to end.
