There have been a few times when I hear Fauozia sing I get a feeling of familiarity, in her songwriting/singing and I can't help but wonder if Taylor Swift was an influence, Taylor is one of a few women that writes, sings, and plays musical instruments, and in turn how many will be influenced by Fauozia. I am not saying that Taylor was an influence, just saying she could have been, so don't come after me Fauozia fans.
@Gordonpreece I didn't say she did. Sometimes there are influences that flitter through one's life at various stages of life, sometimes people are aware of what influenced them, and sometimes not. I am 63 yo and as I get older I reflect on why I am the person I am and I think about the people that have been around me at various times in my childhood. Sometimes I connect the dots and then I know why I do some of the things I do. They were influences that my mind processed and then stayed with me throughout my life. And although my life hasn't been perfect, I have never been arrested, have no addiction, never have, I have gotten to travel while serving in the Army, and I have been married 3 times #3 was the lucky number, we just celebrated 38 years of marriage. Everything I went through there were quiet influences throughout my life. Do you get what I am saying?
