Faouzia I agree is a uniquely talented artist who sounds like no other aetist around ! This is Faouzia with her arabic vocal traits and seamless transfer of registers meshed with powerful lyrics ! Just a girl sitting down with a piano accompaniment looking absolutely stunning singing a powerfully emotional song ! Its hard not to fall in love with Faouzia when she delivers a performance like this ! Im sure this would be a difficult song to cover for sure ! WHOA! This is one stunning performance! Her pronunciation of every word is SO clear and appreciated! But my favorite characteristic or signature technique of hers is how she takes a vowel sound like A or Ooo and just explores the heck out of it! It’s like she can naturally play with the sound and make it incredible. She has a beautiful ability to belt but her voice is just mesmerizing when she hits the softer head voice notes. Gorgeous. Hege, I just love seeing you just FEEL the performance while simultaneously analyzing what’s going on and explaining it all to us 🩷 Thanks for putting this one out there for us to learn from and appreciate!

<3 Such a great reaction as always - was waiting for this one for awhile! Also got to see your cute doggy peek into the background for a second! This live concert was wonderful. I'd recommend you go through my other favorite live Faouzia concert "Arab Heritage". She does a solo performance of Minefields there (without John Legend) that is really amazing. I'll also add one more single live performance recommendation: "Secrets (Live at Home)". Can't wait for your next Faouzia drop - Happy Holdays!
