No mention of DID chains, can they be used?

So, we had a check with Ash, it's not one he's used before so he doesn't have a definitive answer, however, he says, if it clears the inner chaincase then it should be able to be used safely. Hope this helps and safe riding.

Back in the 1970s, the DID chains sold in the US were famous for short tensioning intervals. They were beautiful chains and appeared to be very well made but they didn't hold the correct chain clearance for long and the were soon riding up on the sprocket teeth. My guess is that they've improved mightily since then but my experience back in those days had kept me away from them. In fact, my most recent experience with buying a rear chain is sending an email sayin "Hey, Ashley, include a 100 link Commando chain -- your choice as the best you've got -- with this parts order". I've never known that procedure to fail.
