That bolt and nut is to keep extra pressure off of the acrylic when full of water, when it is full, it’s slightly bows, and it puts stress on the corners in the seams. also it keeps it perfectly square and helps with better suction for the protein skimmer

Great video, is that bolt for a filter sock ?? maybe hangs off that idk, so its filtered before it gets to the skimmer....idk im just asking.
