I am sorry to say but I have to ask, but is there a mod that gets rid of the ringing after you fire your gun, yes its realistic that brass hits the ground but if that ground is made of dirt i shouldn't hear a constant ringing. The ringing from firing guns is obnoxious and it makes me sick, as my only alternative is to play deaf mode and that is just boring.

The gun sounds are stolen from Rainbow Six 3 Raven Shield. Actually, so many Ubisoft games use these sounds, at least: R6 Raven Shield, Splinter Cell original/Pandora Tomorrow/Chaos Theory, both R6 Vegas games.

@OS Arktis They're not royalty free. They're sounds Ubisoft made in about 2002, and they've used the same sounds between that and 2008 or so in a lot of games. They're 100% Ubisoft's sounds; they just kept reusing them in different games.

Why can't they have the gunmodel like this in the modern titles, you can barely see your gun in FC5. Don't understand why they would go through the work of making the models when you can barely see half of them. This game did it right.

they are multiple mercenaries, you choose any one at the start of the game, the rest then appear here and there as fellow mercenaries, aka, buddies also, whoever we choose, they never talk, because we are supposed to be that character, despite us choosing one

The canon protagonist in Far Cry 2 is Marty Alencar, this was confirmed via the Java phone port of the game Edit: nevermind, just looked it up, there is no true main character in Far Cry 2, but the character shown in this video is Marty Alencar

Thypo VD fc2 was better because details which no one cares about. Details and realism makes game complete shit like fc2 is. Fc2 is probably the worst game i ever played sooooooooooo fucking boring i bought it for 4 dollars and it wasn't even worth it. Even free is expensive for this shit
