I really liked the atmosphere of this game! It felt more gruesome and cruel. The "villain" was an interesting guy, too. I still remember the first Jackal tape i heard - "You can't break a man the way you break a dog or a horse. The harder you beat a man, the taller he stands. To break a man's will, to break his spirit, you have to break his mind."
I only remember the Jackal from that bug that always happens to me where the same damn tape would play every time I picked one up:"Saw this kid on the side of the road yesterday, couldn't have been 18,17,and a dead APR half in the ditch next to him...."
I remember getting this game in like 7th grade and my brother changing the difficulty to Infamous while I was at school one day. Never found out until I beat it why it was so fucking hard This is how I became a man
+Billy bewb Heh, I just got my 12 and 10 year old niece and nephew to start playing Dark Souls. My niece is at Sen's Funhouse and my nephew is still stuck on the Capra Demon. My nieces favorite thing is to say "Dark Souls loves you and is a nice easy game." sarcastically.
i really liked FC2. for me, it felt a lot more survivalist and gritty than all of the others. might even be my favourite, now that i think about it. some nice kills in here.
Thanks everyone for sharing these videos around. I really appreciate it :D I'm just clearing up my hard drive, getting ready for Mad Max and Phantom Pain. I'm thinking about making some walkthrough/guides for those games. Plus I got some Fallout and Last Of Us videos in the works. I hope you enjoy what's to come.
+AsterSea Have you seen the new DOOM's SnapMap? It's like Far Cry's map editor but with the ability to add game logic to make completely custom game play.
AsterSea It was, the smartest man who ever worked in the programming industry, John Carmack. In fact, it was his last project he worked on at iD Software.
TimeSplitters also had a great mapmaker, with story logic and multiplayer bots to boot. It seems like as technology advances, creativity and innovation take huge hits.
Actually this game had a great ambiance. The concept was really interesting but Ubisoft did what it always does. After a moment missions became boring. You do same tasks over and over and over again. But I still install and play this game sometimes just for the ambiance.
Damn actually some nice kills and a skilled player by the looks of it. One of the most awesome kills you can perform in FC2 is with the Mortar when u finish up Act 1 and kill Prosper Koussai, takes some luck tho. Or just plain brutal with the double barrel shotgun when you kill Gakumba at Goka falls ^^
I remember playing this game a few years ago and thinking about how great and amazing the graphics looked. Looking at it now I realise how dull they really were.
Sorry if you get this question a lot, but are you using a graphics mod? If so, which one? It's just your game looks about 80% less brown/grey than the default colour palette for FC2.
I remember playing FC2 not so long ago on the highest difficulty. Max 30/90 ammo with over 10 bullets per kill unless headshot with enemies dropping around 5 bullets. Having to run(drive) through dozen of respawning camps of enemies. Enemies having 6th sense making it impossible to backstab them (they just did 180' and shoot me). Oh, and assassination target shooting at me from 2000m when I sneaked through bushes, alarming dudes that were patrolling right next to me. Good times. "Good" times. FC1 best FC :]
How do you even stealth that close to those guys? When I do it, everyone notices me before I can even take half a step towards them, even with the stealth upgrade and crouching in the grass and stuff
I don't know what super special version of the game you're playing because I don't recognize a bunch of those guns. But man, this was such a great and classic game. I miss old Far Cry. So dang good. In hind-sight, at least. -_-
I wish I could of played this game when it came out. I picked it up a couple of months ago but couldn't quite pull myself to keep on playing after a couple of hours into it.
+Aubimed - I wield a golden AK, what now? You do realize that Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 2 were COMPLETELY different games right? Unlike Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4.
DavidMN Let's see here. 1. Far Cry 3 had a 10x bigger map than Far Cry 2 (Yes, literally) 2. Far Cry 3 had a wingsuit 3. Far Cry 3 had a good story 4. Far Cry 3 had original writing 5. Far Cry 3 had menacing villains 6. Far Cry 3 had a crafting system 7. Far Cry 3 had smoother movement (climbing, sliding, etc.) 8. Far Cry 3 had completely new combat (Stealth system, takedowns, etc.) 9. Far Cry 3 had a weapon customization system 10. Far Cry 3 had a protagonist that went through a transformation, scared tourist to seasoned warrior. Far Cry 2 is the same as 3 you said?
its really sad to see all the things far cry 2 did right take 2 steps back in the sequels. weapon perspective for one. the fov in 2 was much higher than 3 or 4 gunfights where also more intense in 2.
Hi man nice video. far cry 2 it´s one of my favorite games. how are you? i need know how do u have that weapons. i play far cry 2 and i never has been seen that weapons please send me link of those weapons for download it. Great you won an suscriber
I don't know why but FC2 felt more... grim? Is that the word? It felt more grim than the other FC games, i dunnow i felt a bit more desperate playing this game.
