Hey :) Most of the information I got was from my personal analysis of all my video game footage mixed with information that can be obtained on the Far Cry Wiki and various other wikis. I basically, tried looking for everything Faith related and painted a picture with all the collective information I accumulated. The problem is that this video is now outdated since the Joseph Seed DLC came out after I was already done with this video and script. I think looking into the DLC should help paint a clearer picture of Faith and her horrible luck. I also plan on working on a video in the future looking into the DLC information provided since that can change the typology I pinned her as. I hope this information helps :) I wasn't able to get my hands on game documents for Faith sadly
In my fanon, the Deputy spares Rachel (having visited the Henbane first) and trains her up (badly), and leaves to deal with the rest of the cult. Rachel fights against the Cult (and Faith). And without making this a word wall of text, I'll just say she helps the Resistance win and deals with her 'brothers' and the father. Afterward, she mostly keeps to herself (her only friends being Grace, Jess, and the Deputy. Tracey and Rachel know they will never be BFFs again but aren't against building another relationship). But she gets kidnapped and taken to a place called Tarkov. In Tarkov, there is only 1 rule: There are no rules. In Tarkov, Rachel is the sociopath you say she is. But in a place of lawlessness, soullessness she heals and changes. I'll stop here but agree with reading of Rachel, though I will say that I think she is aware of what she is doing but is scared of what Joseph will do to her. Because she will be replaced like past Faith's.
Also, about the shaving scene. It’s not that he doesn’t have foresight about this, it’s that he knows Pratt has a beta male type personality. So, his thinking is that he’s got Pratt so well trained, that he wouldn’t think to do that. Also about the issue of Pratt wandering around jacob’s fortress, maybe he wants him to. And Pratt helping the deputy, Maybe he was banking on it. Sort of like: “okay, I’ll play your little game of cat and mouse. With the deputy being the mouse and Jacob the cat.
