I just love how when you catch on fire in farcry games they just admire the flames burning on their skin when they are screaming knowing it hurts. When they put out the flames they already have a 3rd degree burn.
i appreciate them getting back to the older healing animations instead of like far cry new dawn and how you just pour a bottle of pills down your throat for what ever injury you have and just call it a day
@@frebb9270 those are CW animations. the MW animations aren't stiff as when you inspect a gun (or reload) in MW your character actually looks at it compared to CW which doesn't.
The duct tape animation is so well done and probably the best “healing wrap” animation in the series. Also love that the third person version makes it clear that the character pulls the thread with their mouth at the start.
Yeah, it's perfect. Pulling duct tape with one hand and your mouth would take a good amount of force and the animation needs a really strong pose to sell that. Thanks for commenting because I forgot this existed and needed to see it again, lol!
Jokes aside you shouldn't put duct tape on wounds just as it is There needs to be some tissue or wadding covering wound so blood clot won't stick to tape
Pro tip If in real life you somehow get something lodged in your forearm Do not attempt it pull it out Not only will it hurt, but whatever has impaled your arm may be preventing it from bleeding
Roosters are fucking champions of rage and raptor DNA incarnate. They're extremely aggressive birds, and the fact that he's not attacking the player and anything else that moves, much less following them around and taking orders, is honestly insane. Don't fuck with roosters, man. A friend of mine tried to pet one once, and it bit his finger open to the bone, carved his arm open almost to bone, and chased him for half a mile past obstacles and through a building. When a rooster attacks, it won't stop until it or its target is dead, or the target gets away.
What I also like about what was done in the animations for FC6 is how the character actually grunts and screams in pain for as they pull out shards of metal of cauterizing their wounds.
1 A certain english streamer is going to suffer with some of these healing animation, talking about you womble. 2 Who could shoot tiny Chorizo? That’s pure evil.
Although not as much as Far cry 2 I aint gonna lie, the sound effects and the way it looks when you "heal" is so much more painful in this game than FC2 FC2 wins with more variety and variations But FC6 wins with impact and sound
I really love the Medico Supremo animation not just for the healing, but the fact that the animation itself makes me think Dani is about to jetpack out of danger.
I like how in third person she just screams without moving her body parts even an inch. Note: I also noticed that the healing for npcs is just helping them get up or pet them
I was half expecting a built in Defibrillator in one of the Supremos, one that automatically jolts you when you go down and one you can use to revive dead npcs

its Cauterizing and its a way to stop a bleeding damage, but cauterization is something that is done in extreme cases and is done with something like a bandage to wear later. And more importantly, it must be done with a clean object, since it is highly likely to get infected if it is done with something like a cigar.
Reviving Allies in this game reminds me of Buddy rescue in Far Cry 2 In Far Cry 2, if you lose your health, you will be unconscious and a buddy will rescue you. Unlike FC6, FC2 Buddy rescues have a lot of animations: 1. Buddy will heal you on the place you die (this happened if there are no enemies around) 2. Buddy will came with an AK, and carry you to a safer place 3. When carrying you, a Buddy will knock out an enemy that gets close 4. When carrying you, a Buddy will put you on the ground when there are explosions 5. When carrying you, a Buddy will use His/Her Handgun to kill an enemy that gets close There are more animations, but i just can't remember most of it. Also, not only a Buddy can heal you, you can also heal your Buddy

I love how they made the animations so that another player can see them but the character’s face still looks dead inside feeling no pain and not even flinching
I feel like it would be cool, but also a bit to much to ask for some more upper torso and head movement, and emotions on the characters faces in the 3rd person views
So, they recycled stuff from fucking Far Cry 3, 4, Primal, 5 and that other one before this installment. Great, idk if that's what you call investment though...

@@fine3772 i was thinking about them using a water canteen to extinguish Themselves,quickly pouring water over themselves. Perhaps not that much effective, but i mean... *points at usual extinguish animation*
@@pacifistminigun3987 oh yes, i can imagine it, it goes like this : takes water canteen out with right hand, pours on left arm and thighs quickly (the can becomes empty) then puts right arm out with left hand. but nah man ubisoft will just use a 9 years old animation, because ubisoft.
Far Cry 2 be like: so I have reinforcement in my leg and a bullet in my hand and the second hand is on fire, I don’t care, I won’t even say a word and it doesn’t even hurt
