same this game was amazing played it with my father he teached me how to play it then he was amazed lol how i was pro killing those mercenary boys like nothing and mutants
I love the time in gaming when shooters felt like a journey, like globetrotting adventures. This, Half-Life 2, Halo, and many others that took you to all sorts of places around the world and beyond. These weren't just games. They were experiences
From that starting bunker, through jungles, mercenary camps, research facilities, caverns and ancient ruins, all the way up into an active volcano, this game was incredible at every step
2004 was such a great year for video games: Half-Life 2, Far Cry, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, GTA San Andreas... Just an amazing year for video games!
i had a redaon 128 mb which did not support the game in 32 color mode in windows xp. it always lagged in one section of the game. but i changed it to 16 color mode which worked properly.
Man i sometimes forget that Far cry at least the first one was more like a rambo esque into the jungle hollywood like action movie where you could just blow shit up. The theme even fits that kind of feel.
That’s an outstanding game! Even after 15 years it looks maybe simply if we look from the modern point of view, but lovely, anyways! I like this game not just because of nostalgia, but because of its atmosphere, I’d like to walkthrough this game once again when I have more free time.
Я помню смотрел на коленках как мой брат играл в эту легендарную игру, я ещё помню год назад проходил её слеза наворачиваются... Спасибо crytek за эту легендарную игру😌
Just this scene and the music alone. Show this to young kids what you used to play and they'll get hooked to it. No rtx graphics game is gonna match this experience. Our games were epic
@@gulas_s_houskovym_knedlikem Ok, but you still don't realize how it looked back in 2004. 😀 When you entered open space with beach and sea, it was like WOOOOOW! I miss these WOW moments in today games.
@@gulas_s_houskovym_knedlikem I miss that time when you bought a game and you was not walking back home, but you was running like Usain Bolt to install it as soon as possible. 😀
There was a "fan made" music video with this game. The song was epic but I can't find it. Can somebody help pls. I think is called " never Givin up" or something like this but I can't find it
