TENGO 59 AÑOS Y YO ERA BAILARINA EN AQUELLOS GLORIOSOS AÑOS DE LAS PELÍCULAS DE JOHN TRAVOLTA !!! LAS VIA A TODAS EN EL CINE ... FIEBRE DE SÁBADO POR LA NOCHE, FLASHDANCE, FAMA, ETC. !!!
John Travolta is not only a versatile actor, a good 👍 singer but also a tremendous dancer. Oh my 😅 what a brilliant artist which is hard to find now a days. Bravo 👏.
It’s easy to forget how talented John Travolta is and what a triple threat he was back in those days. He ruled the movies for a fairly long period of time. And he still works constantly to this day. Lucky to have him!
Hi Kate! This is Lori! Totally agree really loved the soundtrack on this movie! My husband and I have a channel on RU-vid called Kovaction. Driven partly by our love of movies!
Frank is vastly underrated. However - i met him once in LA and he was a complete ahole. Prob the reason why he never could step out of his brothers shadow.
and Frank was pursuing a music career before Sylvester got into acting. Frank told Sylvester when his music career took off he would finance his movies
@@RageTVHTX THEE Most Important thing is Mama Stallone raised them right they are Tight Brothers who Support and Take Care of each other.. No Matter who ended up getting that money- The Both Have Money Now because real Brothers Share EVERYTHING. Frank can Sing His Ass Off !
I love the energy of this song, I love the energy of this era. It was such a great time to be a teenager …and I loved dance music and I loved that a-lot of the movies that were in the theater had these great movie soundtracks. And I’m so glad I grew up watching John Travolta shake his boogie!
Thanks for the comments, like, support and love over the years . I would love to keep in touch with you, write me; Johntravolta4real@gmail.com Hope you’re keeping safe?
I absolutely love this movie! I mean, it's no Saturday Night Fever, but I really enjoy it and make a point of watching it about once year or so at least.. Travolta is his usual super charismatic self, Cynthia Rhodes is an angel, Finola Hughes is wickedly sexy, and the music is beyond awesome! What more could anyone want?
Even after less than thirty-nine years, i still dig the underrated sequel to the 1977 blockbuster smash 'Saturday Night Fever.' Boy do i so miss the 1980's.
Unforgettable song, movie and an amazing Travolta who was in such an incredible shape at the time! the energy he was able to transfer while dancing was palpable Don’t know why it was panned by critics
@wayward_wyn if you don’t like the genre or the actor there’s lots of other even more recent movies to watch I paid attention to the film and enjoyed it
It's the combination of music ,dance and song that bring you in memory wonderful scenes of this film every time you hear this song .My sister is Travolta's big fan and because of her l watched all his films.
So talented. Dancing, acting, and charisma. John Travolta. Can’t think of another man during this time with this quality. You either want to be JOHN or be with John. 💕

Me too! My teenage years have been brought up with John Travolta musical movies, and this one in particular. The way he dances is so impressive. Fiona Hughes and Cynthia Rhodes are also amazing.
Excellent music. The 70s and 80s had the best music. Staying alive is the best movie next to Saturday night fever. John travolta acted and danced so great. I was a young teen and these movies and the music bring back such happy times.
💙You can see Sylvester Stallone's influence as Director showing up in Travolta's body. He never looked this good before or after. I saw an interview where John gave a lot of credit re his performance and body in this film to Sly. I never suspected that Stallone had directed this before seeing that interview. Stallone was his body transformation coach. John was afraid to do this film because he was so out of shape, Sly talked him into doing it & promised him a great film. I think fans agree that both succeeded in their goals!!❤️
First non kids movie I ever saw. I got the soundtrack for a present before I saw the movie with my mom. The movie confused me though, I was entertained by the story, I thought it was exciting but I didn't know why the man was dancing like a girl. I remember feeling disturbed when leaving the theater. Upon reflection, that's the moment someone watching my life would be able to determine I'm going to be straight when I grow up. I just watched the movie again for the first time in 30 years, John is so frigging talented!!! And clearly bi. The movie itself is DREADFUL but never boring, talent all over the screen just none behind the camera. Those costume choices, yikes. Hands down that's the bravest thing any male actor ever did on screen.....THAT was what killed his career. Wow that was risky. Glad he had a come back, he deserved it
Hi Judith! This it Lori. I totally agree. This was such a fun movie and a movie of the times! Watching all these movies has inspired us to start a channel on RU-vid Kovaction. :)

Impossível não sentir algo forte e deslumbrante, vendo cenas assim e ouvindo essas canções. EU VIVI ESTES ANOS GLORIOSOS e jamais esquecerei! Rever, nos devolve as mesmas sensações!
Incrível!! Sinto as mesmas sensações. AMOOOO

@@ricmacrc6163 "Travolta was born in Italia?" No but If you were born in China does that make you Chinese? There's more to Nationality than a piece of paper. It's called heritage.
Saludos
This is one of my favorite dance movies. The choreography is so awesome! Its so different from Saturday Night Fever and the three main Dancers are truly amazing.

Gregor Travnikar The problem was the marketing and the fact that it's so different from the first movie which confused and threw people off. From Disco to Broadway is oil and water. If they would have not called him Tony and just said it was an original movie, then it would have been as big as a hit as Dirty Dancing or Grease. The confusion between this movie and the first unfortunately made the GREAT that Staying Alive is which is better than Dirty Dancing, but not as big of a hit as Staying Alive should have been.
One of my top 5 movies. No matter what, it cheers me up. It got me through a rough patch in life and I still love it. Cynthia Rhodes is the best. I love everyone in this.
I had to sing this song in a pantomime about 20 years ago. I was the prince trying to find snow white! It's actually a hard song to sing, I struggled, especially while dancing. Frank Stallone was a underated singer.
