Poodles loses a job working at a car dealer so he gets a job working for the Hardly Able Cab Company. How he got from driving a cab to fighting with a horse is an odd and contrived situation, though the horse appears to be his co-star from CIRCUS DAZE. This is probably the highlight of the film.

Thanks for another silent film. Love them. People must have went nuts when they could finally hear the actors speak laugh and sing or release anger. Loved the music too of silent films. Thanks for sharing.

Never heard of Hanneford so did some research: Edwin Poodles Hanneford, born Barnsley, Yorkshire, England 14 June 1891, died 9 December1967 Kattskill Bay, NY. Married Grace Norma White. He was the main circus clown in the Shirley Temple flick OUR LITTLE GIRL and also appeared as a supporting actor in SPRINGFIELD RIFLE and BILLY ROSE'S JUMBO. He was a bareback circus rider from the age of three - his family were circus people.
