Please do keep doing any and all maintenance/mod videos for the FZ6! Especially if it DOES get touted as a beginner bike, it's helpful for beginners like me who ride one and just have no clue yet what to be doing re: maintenance

I’ve just said goodbye to the Duke today, luckily moving on to a friend who will treat it well, and more importantly let me take it for occasional spins! No replacement for the time being so no two wheel fun for a bit. Thanks again for all the great vids with the Fazer.

I had fazer brand new in 1999 nice bike...but only kept it 12 months and traded it in for a 2nd hand VFR750F V4....Never looked back😍 I still have a v4 in the garage 😊
Ah sure there's no comparison to any V4 imo. My Supermagna is by far my favourite bike I own 😁😁 That said the S2 fz6 is a world apart from the S1 and the older carbed models :)

Saying goodbye to a motorcycle can be heartbreaking. It’s like saying goodbye to an old friend and the only remedy is wind therapy, and lots of it. Ride the new bike until you learn all of her strengths, flaws and quirks. Until she becomes your new best friend. The ache of loss will pass. Plus you’ve got loads of videos that you can watch whenever you want. She will be missed, but I, for one, won’t be going anywhere. You could ride a crappy old MZ and your vlogs would still be top notch. Ride Safe pal 🙏🏻

Middleweight bikes like the Fazer, Strom 650 and MT07 are basically perfect as bikes. They're not the most exciting but there's nothing they can't do well- even if they do nothing brilliantly. They're like a Mondeo or a Camry and I mean that as high praise. I've more or less stopped coveting new bikes since I got the Strom. I'd be the same on the Fazerino. They're everything you need. Godspeed, little Yam. You were a good bike and I'm sorry I didn't get to ride you. Stupid 'Rona.
That's why I'll always still have the Supermagna. It to me is the perfect bike for a bit of craic. If my brain wasn't stupid I'd only have one bike :) A Camry is the highest praise indeed 😁 They are indeed if they fit. Oh man, I miss my FZ6 s2, very similar to yours... It's not beginner in my think, it's not perfect in any way, but does it all. Something that I miss the more, is that I moved to a MT09, the lower low end torque, made it easier to cruise around, in the mt need to be focused all the time (I have the version with no traction control). But good choice with the CBF man.
Exactly, it's such a great all rounder. And I'll also definitely miss it too, it just didn't fit me :( Ah yes those MT09s are monsters on the lower end, so no tc in the rain....yeah I can see how that wouldn't be relaxing :D Thanks man, I'm delighted with it :)

You'll love riding the Honda so much, you'll not think about the Fazer. You could get on the Magna and blow peoples windows out. When the GSXR is on the road you'll be giggling like a school girl with a Justin Beiber Backstage pass. I can't wait to upgrade, even though I love my 600.

When was this filmed, 2019?? :P Audio sounds like it was duplicated to a 2nd channel in post btw, can easily happen if you split the audio from the video to change between camera's and you're dragging/dropping. FYI, a skippable ad came on at @2:40 right in the middle of you talking, then another ad @8:50, on top of two ads before the video started, maybe have a word with RU-vid and tell them thats taking the piss a bit for a 14 min video.
Hahaha in an alternate universe 😭😭😭 I got a day of decent weather there :P It still rained several times that day 😂😂 Yeah I didn't do anything different at all, checked back there last night and sounds fine on the pc and weird on RU-vid so not sure what happened :/ They love the mid rolls! Plus if I turn them all off the videos don't get pushed at all. Like one of my vids was barely watched switched on ads bam 500+ views staright away. Just install adblock if they annoy you :)

Always sad to bid adieu to an old friend, but yes, get on that Honda and ride.... A first bike is the first bike you ride. A first car is the same. I never experienced a world where legislation and riches would allow me unlimited choices. Life has been none the worse for that. I loved my MOT failure 200 quid special cars. I learnt a lot from them, and had great fun and adventures. The same with my bikes. Thinking about it now I think you grow with your bikes. Now I am having so much fun on my 150cc budget machines. I still have the memories of the 1000 cc behemoths but I wouldn't want them on the roads here. Find new dimensions to your biking life with the Honda.
That is true. I'm absolutely loving the Honda :) That is true I'm very happy picking up bikes that have been depreciated by others and barely used :) Ah yes also my option with th cars :P I drove one for 2 years with an engine light on, the part needed was more expensive than the car so I kept it going :) I will indeed and thank you Stephen :)
bye bye fazer.... yeah the audio is a bit funky, kind of reminds me of a chemically induced incident from eating the wrong or maybe right type of mushrooms :P ride the cbf lots, but if you want silly revs though find someone with rd350 who would be willing to let you have a test ride, they rev pretty normally up to a point, then they go insane up to the redline like you just hit NOS.. you could probably fit one too, i had a mate who was a little taller than me at 6`6" and lanky legged and rode one with no issues, in my late teens pretty much everyone had rd`s they were silly fast 2 stroke, small enough cc bikes that insurance wasnt to severe and that you could hammer and they were cheap enough to buy too, think thats why they were popular within my circle at the time. always hate saying goodbye to a loyal machine though, theres been some im like yeah see ya but others ive been propper gutted about seeing them go.
