Oh my god can't believe he's no longer going to be are captain what a star man great bloke honest to the days long good luck to him and wherever he goes
Stunned he's gone, we must have something magnificent lined up is all I can think. Langstaff? IIRC a few of us saw his County debut as a trialist against Drogheda in 2008 in blue and black vertical stripes. Best of luck Paddy, please sign for The Rovers!
Paddy. I've just had the unenviable task of telling my 8 year old and 5 year old sons the bad news. They are heartbroken! As am I. But wish you and your family only good things. If my sons follow County until they're 100 years old, they won't have a better role model. They'll always remember their Starman! Good luck to you.
If he got a better offer that tripled his salary on a three year deal I can accept that. Fair enough, let the wind be at your back and may good fortune follow you. Go with our blessings lad. However, if the club, in any way, showed an unwillingness to meet his terms then that is incredibly disappointing. Paddy didn't strike me as the type of man with incredible demands. He seemed a humble man who went about his business, and I would think his demands would mirror that. This is not a sentimental business but there are, occasionally, exceptions to that rule. Paddy exceeded the criteria needed for that in my view. In any event let's hope he signs somewhere on a good deal for one last hurrah. God bless you and good fortune to you and your family. Cheers Pad.
I was hoping it wasn't true. Does anyone know which incredibly lucky team will have him next season? Miss him already. A County legend. Bucketfuls of luck Paddy xx
Whatever he wanted from us, we should've given it him. He couldn't possibly have been asking for more than what was fair; he wouldn't have held us to ransom. I just hope this doesn't bite us in the arse.
