I have watched days, since i was a child. I always wanted to meet hope brady, in person. Im in my 60s now. Never traveled, never been to CA. Im a huge huge huge days fan!
Peggy McCay was every bit as loved by the cast of Days as Caroline Brady was by the characters they played. She and Frank Parker (Shawn Brady) made the perfect Irish couple and brought a new dimension to Salem after so many years focused on just the Horton’s. Frank’s retirement from acting in 2008 for health reasons just made the relationship that much more poignant. Interesting to note that they died within weeks of each other: Parker on September 16, 2018 and McCay on October 7th. Even from a soap opera, they taught us so much about what family really means. Rest In Peace, dear friends.
Goodbye to Carolyn and I pray that Me McKay rests in peace. I have watched Days for many years. Seen both of the Horton's and both of the Brady's now pass on the show. It feels almost like family to so many of us.
Its amazing that neither Frances or Peggy had actual children but built up such incredible families on Days, the Days gang and the rest of us too. Its sad that Claire and Ciara are fighting while Will needs everybody around him.

Very hard to believe, since Caroline Brady (Peggy McKay) was such a wonderful loving woman, but she had no living family members when she died. She never had children either. R.I.P. Caroline Brady & Peggy McKay! She gave her whole heart & life to Days! She can never be replaced, will never be forgotten, & always will be loved & missed! God Bless!!!! ;-)
R.I.P. Peggy McCay/Caroline Brady will be greatly missed. She was a part of me since I was 10 years old as I watched with my beloved Mother. All of DOOL has been & still is my family in my heart! BUT I don't recall an episode on DOOL paying tribute to Peggy/Caroline.....this is a beautiful tribute to a beautiful Lady.
As I did post sometime ago my condolences on Peggy McKay's passing. She was feisty and very much a central part of the show. Speaking of the show, what is going on?! This jump in the future is disjointed and hard to follow. The present story-lines were interesting. I do not know what the Cordays are doing, yet until they get out of the future and go back to the present I can not follow what is going on. Days always impressed me as a show that broke barriers in terms of telling stories . Yet this jaunt in the future is too unbelievable for me! I will be back if and when Days goes back to the present.
