The fact that she was allowed to rise the the top - and tolerated for years - says a lot about the English electorate. She must've laughed herself to sleep every night for the past decade.
People like her are delusional, they think they deserve everything they get and more. Look at her attitude towards not being on the honours list. She feels she's entitled to a title.
Honestly, I think the sad truth is that she didn’t. She thought she deserves to be in this position due to her intelligence or something along those lines. The sense entitlement is limitless.
Enough people across different sites have raised the question of how taking public money, a very significant salary, without fulfilling the role, is patently fraud. Isn’t it time this was acted upon?
Exactly. Also, if NO action is brought against her and she is not made to pay back tax payers money, then I would encourage ALL workers in the civil service to do exactly as she has done when it comes to thinking about leaving your job - tell your manager that you will resign with immediate effect, but do not do this formally in writing, then do not go to work, but demand to be paid for the next few months. This woman has set prescedent now. All people working for the state should expect exactly the same as she has got in terms of renumeration for zero work.
I love James O Brien with every fibre of my being. If I ever find myself angry or upset with the state of everything that the Tories have relentlessly imposed on us over the last 13 years, I'll listen to James. He somehow makes me feel like I'm not alone in the anguish that I feel.
@@jackryder-sw9rk I've spoken to people who insist her and Johnson were chased out and victimised. I just cannot believe how they think this. It's worrying such gullibility is allowed to vote and breed!
Thats why the country is in the mess its in. these people cant think for themselves they just repeat what they have read in the tory rags, its called brainwashing. !!
Yep. I don't want or bed to appear as a know it all, but when they elected Major after the Thatcher catastrophe, I had to get out. I've now lived in the EU for 32 years.
The system needs to change. We need: 1. A written constitution. 2: proportional representation. 3. Clear terms and conditions and a written contract for MPs. 4. An end to second jobs, no exceptions. 5. A total ban on paid lobbyists or any MPs / Ministers outside interests, shareholdings, including their families. 6. Hold all parties to account for their manifesto pledges.
No we don’t need a constitution look how the US abuse theirs we do however need standards that are imposed strictly on MPs conduct and the hours that they need to devote to constituents work.
I agree the system needs changing - in fact it needs ripping out and doing away with. People need to stop voting someone else to speak for them and start being responsible for themselves.
@@dianeshelton9592 Er no. The U.S. is still here precisely because of their besieged constitution. If it weren't such a valuable thing, you wouldn't get legions of evil people attacking it.
Totally with you on that James. She created herself a reputation of trying to deflect her actions or inactions by slandering others and then using all forms of protection when it suited her. Using excuses latching onto groups that have been victimised claiming herself to be also. She and many like her as we know are simply using hypocrisy to attempt to gain ground on those who challenge her. It is because people like her that I want to push a simple idea out to people which I hope you will talk about at some point in the future. That being a concept I can say in two words. Accountability mechanism. It's something that should exist in the political structure. I realise it would be no easy feat to achieve but it should be there in place so that politicians can't get away with pursuing their own agenda without leaving a trail of activity that can be processed for the public to witness. By the way you do a great job 👍
I can`t quite remember, and I may be wrong, but didn`t Rishi promise this. "Professionalism, integrity, blah blah" when he gave his "Hi I`m the new Prime Minister" speech. You know, just before he reappointed Suella Braverman.
Yes and going on reality TV is for one reason only and that is MONEY. ALL SHE IS INTERESTED IN IS USING HER POSITION AS AN M.P. TOO GET AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE which she has no other way of getting due to her lack of any other skill needed to make money. She is a prime example of the quality & type of motivation we get as MPs nowadays. She has done well if you judge that by the fact that someone who has little intelligence ( O level standard?) Can make it too a minister in a government, & the perks of being an MP, so can sell books & do a jungle stint all for one thing only as with Hancock MONEY & AVERICE. THESE PEOPLE ARE THE EXAMPLE ( I ASSUME AS MPs?) Too our young of how too succeed ....not.
James thankyou for being the voice of the public , she’s our Marjorie Taylor Green trumps deluded side kick, her attitude in that interview is shameful how arrogant she is. James you smile listening to her is beautiful , love ya
While I do absolutely agree that if it were someone like Diane Abbott doing this behavior the media would not shut up about it, I am quietly happy that for the most part Nadine Dorries hasn't got much media attention. She should never have been an MP let alone a minister, and the fact that the bulk of the sensible media just went "Oh, you're gone now" is quite relieving. I'm going to quickly forget she was ever an MP.
Dorries was an MP? You can't be serious? I thought she was just some mad woman they brought out at opportune moments to give a political bad news story a bit of comedy relief.
Do you remember the BBC show Years and Years? I didnt sleep when i first saw it, as it hit so close to home and it seemed so prophetic to me. Its weird how close we are to seeing it come true…
I had not really paid much attention Nadine Dorries before, but hearing all this I am beginning to think I shortchanged myself. This woman is hilarious. The concept of someone like her being a member of the British Government is mental, hilarious as well, and very, very sad. How deep have the Brexit perpetrators sunk that they have to make do with this kind of idiots?
@@MrPlannery I keep hearing this whataboutery from woke people that can't handle anyone saying bad things about their idol's........face facts Rayner is a clown.
@@MrTonyHeath No, he meant watch. For the uninitiated, JamesO'b has a feature called "woke watch" with a jingle et all. It's to make fun of hyperbole Daily Fail articles etc. After some time when Dorries resigned "with immediate effect" he took that jingle, shouted Dorries over the woke bit & declared how many days it had been since her "resignation" & reported on other assorted news regarding her, like the letters from councils in her area asking her to either represent them or step down.
@@jeffsimon9594 “When people show you who they are, believe them the first time.” This is one of the hardest life lessons that I've ever tried to follow Maya Angelou The thing is politicians/leaders like Nadine dorries, Boris Johnson etc show us exactly who they are, and not in any subtle way. but with the equivalence neon lights and boomboxes and do it countless times and yet for some reason there are still people totally blind to what they are seeing or hearing.!
The thing we should be most worried about is that the majority of the people in her constituency thought she would make a suitable person to represent them in parliament. Scary.
Yes, apparently she didn't resign. Immediately because she was "writing a book"?! 1) the taxpayers were paying her to represent them in parliament -not to write her book 2) resigning immediately would have allowed her given her more time (about 5mins) to dedicate to her book writing.
Nadine Dorries is gone, but the stench of her lies ineptitude and sycophancy pervades, she was a symptom of what the UK had become under the Tories and perhaps a portent of what they face in future.
I have not heard about James O'Brien- But I must admit I am pleased to have found his channel - He speaks truthfully and shine light upon current Issues making us aware of the fools of nature.
"Desiccated poster girl" "The woman playing the hunger striking mother in the story of Boris Johnson" "(Dorries is proof that) the woman with a brain eating worm in her head is not the unprecedented scientific discovery scientists are claiming it is" Oh James, thank you! I'm crying with laughter here! You are king dude!!
I'm a senior civil servant. She is undoubtedly the worst politician I have ever had to work with - simply on the basis of comprehension and understanding. She blamed this on dyslexia, which I find a little unconvincing. She simply didn't listen to other people, and embarrassed herself as a result. A depressing example of the vicious circle that amateurism ("common sense") and arrogance can breed.
Love James. He tells the truth and invites discussion and debate. i listen to him every day. Acerbic wit. And a champion opposer of the brexshit disaster foisted upon us.
I set up Nadine Dorries original private medical insurance policy when she 1st became an MP. She was a former nurse and she took it out within days of first sitting in Parliament
Charley Stayt: "Have you been in contact with the Prime Minister?" Nadine:"Yer...like. I used a Oujia Board" Stayt: "And what did he say to you?" Dorries: I asked if there was anybody there." Stayt:"And what did the Prime Minister respond?" Dorries:"No."
The last time I spoke to my boss is not a matter of public interest *because I'm not an MP and my boss is not the prime fecking minister*. For the record, if I didn't speak to my boss for several days, there would be questions asked, if only to check that I'm OK lol. Why go into public office if you take affront at the idea that your employment and the goings on while you are at work are, y'know, public?
Too many of these undeserving grifters end up in the house of lords or with a peerage, it's of some small comfort that this particular husk of a human being was denied such an honour.
The first clip, gin , I'm guessing ,the second clip , absolute lies ,facts ,third clip , excuses, fourth clip ,why is she not Infront of a judge . as a nation ,I know and believe we can and will recover from what this lot in government has brought upon our four nations . unforgivable as the history books will show .great reaction James .
You would really think that 'The Daily Mail' would realise the game has been up with Johnson and his cronies and move on to the next set of politicians and policies that they can monetise.
