You and Brooke are such a great team. She works equipment hard, bangs it up and you fix it all. You both are excellent role models for how a married couple can work together to make a wonderful life for your family and yourselves. I admire you both.
The scares on the equipment is testament to how hard Brooke works on the farm. The sign post is perfect. Good luck with your Granddaddy's tractor, YOU CAN DO IT ,💙 Have a wonderful weekend ☺️. OXOXO to you and all your family and animals ❣️
Having issues with equipment on a farm is just part of having a farm! I'm with Brooke when it comes to using equipment. I'm pretty tough on my equipment because I work hard! But I'm the one that has to fix it or buy a new one!😂 Jason, you are so sweet to not get angry with her when something happens. Not all men would be as kind!
My husband was the same way. I would do something to something and he would just shrug and head for the tools. No lectures but maybe a little smile that meant "Why am I not surprised."
I love that idea for a bumper sticker. I drive a truck which isn’t the norm here in the uk and I have my midlife crisis sports car for warmer days so I would definitely put it on one of them . ❤
I remember long ago when Brooke got the old tractor stuck in a ditch at the OG Farm. Great video, today, Jason. Hope all goes well for Brooke at her appointment.
Good morning Jason, thank you Jason for starting my day off with smiles, we are going to have to call you “Jason the Detective Farmer” for the way you followed the clues this morning. Maybe that can be another Children’s Brooke with all the Cog Hill Pasture community helping you “Farmer Jason” with the clues to solve a mystery. 😀👍👩🌾👍👩🌾👍👩🌾
GREAT vid! Between you and the goats tattling, I’m thinking Brooke is gonna find out! 😹 Holly is so precious! Her loyalty to you is unmatched! Her original owner must be so proud of her! She made a hard choice for Holly that’s been great for everyone. God bless! 😋
The directional sign reminds me of the one they had on the show MASH, all the arrows were the city and how many miles everyone was from and on the final episode everyone took their arrow home with them, Idk why i remember that
A new day does not come without new challenges. It makes life interesting. 🤣🤣🤣 My sister was the one who was hard on appliances and tools. She did break my mother's old wringer washer by pounding it with a hammer. That was the big one. I love you guys.❤❤❤
You two deserve each other ❤ there is no two stronger than you two. Brooke is an example to so many Video Creators who have farms and the girls all had to have tractors cause she did and do things Brooke does. However, you two work so well together and your love, your family and friendships with other creators is what I wish our country has we need more of people like you. Country, Farmers, Video Creators just good people.. Thank You!
Thanks for update on everything! I am surprised how I love watching you work on your equipment. I loved to watch my dad on the farm work on this equipment. So at 73 I'm still enjoying it.
I love the sign post. I had a smaller version in my flower garden. It said, Sunshine Lane, butterfly Hollow, Hollyhock Street. But I dreamt about your sign post. I dreamt you folks had a bad hurricane and it was spinning your post in circles. Love the farm wagon how you have it decorated.
Oh boy Brookes got to have her tractor running. Glad you can get what it needs.❤ Glad you got prices and ordered your old tractor parts. Coming on winter and its set long enough.😊 Holly got into a mess of something. ❤😊 Also like the DIY project of signs.❤😊
Hi Brooke and Jason, those signs remind me to little Cog Hill Farm, looks fantastic. Hope the tractor fix is an easy one and not too expensive. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
Hey Jason a metal doggie comb will get those hitchhikers right out of Holly's coat every time. We have a lot of those weeds around here and my dog's metal comb takes the hitchhikers right out with no trouble at all. Can't recommend a metal comb highly enough. Just had to get some hitch hikers out of my dog's coat this morning. Have a great day!!
Goodmoring Jason. Good luck on the tractor repair, don't be to hard on Brooke she certainly is the best partner a guy could have.❤, Just look at it like this, she keeps your mechanical skills fresh.😅❤❤
Downsizing your garden is a sign of maturity and valuing your time effectively. After 60+ yrs of having a large (1 acre plus) garden, I decided last year to take a break from the garden. While I enjoyed the bounty of fresh vegetables year round, the amount of labor required was just too much. I’ve maintained the infrastructure so if/when I decide to resume, it won’t be starting from scratch.
Brooke Smith-gentle as a whisper with the babies, tough as a lumberjack with the "big boy" equipment! I wouldn't expect less, You go girl! ( And thanks to Mr. Smith for his kindly remarks about his best girl-Brooke and Jason, you're quite a wonderful pair!
She isnt rough on equipment. She just uses it like farmers do. We brake stuff. Keep the radiators blown out. You would do well on rebuilding a carb. Its like a puzzle some times. But you have patience and attention to details.
It will be worth all the hard work in the end when Mary-Carl is driving that Bus and Tractor around 😊...nothing better than having a piece of the past you can connect with.
Replacing the gas tank is the best way to avoid ongoing problems, it just makes sense for vehicles that old, both of them. Good eye out for that oil leak!
Blessed morning Jason. 🙏🏽 I feel your pain. My hubby rarely drove our mower but on the rare time he did he knocked the top off. I watched in disbelief as he drove it right under a low hanging branch without a care in the world. He didn’t even slow down as it was dangling backwards. 🤪 I had to stop him . . . he was unaware and in his own world. God love our wild carefree spouses. 🤗🙏🏽💓 I think we are both blessed with keepers though. 🥰
Not that there is a 'slow' season but perhaps you will have the time once all your plants go dormant to catch up on all the delayed chores! And it will give you something to do if it ever rains again.😊
🤠 Jason did a great job in spotting the leak evidence, finding the source, and fixing it. Brooke trusts her equipment to do what she wants, and she trusts Jason to keep it working. Together, they keep the farm going - Good Farming!
Jason and Brooke you sent so many of down memory lane. All I can say is thank you. Wish I could watch those old MASH 4077 reruns. Your sign post is what did it. Love it just love it.❤❤❤😊
The sign looks so good next to the truck. Glad you’ve found d the problem with the leak on the tractor. Holly is such a lovely loyal dog who is living her best life and loving life at cog hill. Have a lovely weekend take care God bless 🙏💕
Jason, you are so funny and an awesome guy. I just love you and Ole Longhorn Lester, your best bud. I know your grandpa meant a great death deal to you, and having his tractor is having his presence. I'm sure the babies not gonna tell momma that you were talking about her to all y'all friends 😂😂😂. Got to love it❤❤❤ Stay Bless cause I'm here for the ride. Glinda from South Florida 🍊
Good thing Brooke used the tractor for her project. You might not have discovered the leak until more damage was done. My mom had two husbands (she was widowed) who were great mechanics. She was always grateful she didn’t have to rely on others for car repairs.
I had a 78 firebird.not the hot rod version but it had power. When my son accidently put a hole in my gas tank and they took it off to fix it, the gunk they poured out of it was shocking! It was a miracle that car was running at all much less it was running great!
I have a friend that works old tractors and he restors the but the vw bus I love working on and restoring them and gas tank replacement is a good idea because the rust isn't I'm glad your redoing the motor in it
Well, looks like you have some new projects. Once you get Brooke's tractor leak taken care of, make sure you double check to be sure that's the only leak on it. Brooke loves to make her equipment dance. I hope the new gas tank makes Granddaddy's tractor come to life. It would be great seeing it working on the farm. Holly is so pretty.
Love seeing M&M they are so adorable!! Haha, Poor Brooke. Just shows shes a hard worker. Work smarter not harder right!! Tractors do the work. Love yall❤❤
I hope you can get the things done you want to get done. That way you can clear out the garage for the bus so MaryCarl can get some driving time in on property. 😊
