The zinnias are really producing well! Are you also selling cut flowers at the farmstand? I think they would sell well. And the watermelons I can tell will be a big hit! I have never been successful with watermelon, but my mom grows them very well. 💖💖💖 I think that Peaches will eventually find the culprit who vandalized her room. Though she may never tell you, she'll just handle the situation herself. 🤔💖😉
Watching and listening to you both makes my day! Love you both being YOU! You are great story tellers also! 🤗💖 German Chocolate cake is my favorite cake! My mother made it on special occasions, my sister and I loved it and said we wanted it for our birthdays, so twice a year we enjoyed her very special cake. My daughter took over the making of the cake for my birthday when mom was not able to do any longer!😋💖😋💖
I hope you make a detailed video when you install the hot wire. I need a tutorial and you guys are the best teachers. I’ve learned so much from Cog Hill Farm! Thank you so much.
Baby goats may be the culprits & Peaches may have already talked to their mamas about supervising their kids better. She gave them their demerits for getting rambunctious in her house & messing up her web. Sheriff let them go with a talkin to because it was their first offense. 😎🤣
Department of fisheries should be able to tell you when to stock the pond, with what fish the first year & onward. They may be able to tell you who to get fish from too. You may want to sink some cedar trees off the shoreline in 2 - 3 areas for cover & shade for fish & eventual fish egg hatching. Tie trees to cinder block, sink them & they will stay under water.
I do not miss all the chem trails in our skies. They outlawed them and cloud seeding in our state of Tennessee. And we get so many more clear sunny days where we normally had overcast skies for the last umpteen years. You all need to put a fountain in the pond for the geese and emus! lol Peaches gonna be docking someone's pay! lol
Indian and other Mid. Eastern foods and spices. Now I can't eat that kind of food d/t my health issues. Can't eat tomatoes that I adore and cooked everything with. and in the summers loved going to my Grandpa Hap's garden and just eating tomatoes with salt until my mouth would crack! I would adore to have homegrown watermelon but living in the city it's not easy to find them. Grocery store melons are just bla. I miss farm eggs too. If only I could drive out to the Amish farms to get good meats and produce...I can't tolerate the travelling and my husband is not one to go out of his way to do that kind of stuff. We have a farmer's market in Nashville, TN but I've never been to it. When I lived in Little Rock, AR it was so easy and close enough to work that we would walk down there a couple of days a week and shop for our elderly beauty shop clients and ourselves. It was quite a treat! I'd get greens...they were usually affordable for me. I was super poor, and at times homeless. But when I had a way to cook I loved making a mess of greens with a pork bone...back then bones were very cheap unlike today. Or someone would give me leftover bones so I could make soups. I've had an interesting life!
